高職學生低入學成績、高學業成就影響因素之研究

A Research on Influential Factors of Low Entrance Examination Grade and High Academic Achievement Students

摘要


本研究旨在探究高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之影響因素,本研究以羅東高工100學年度各班畢業生為研究範圍,研究對象為入學時之國民中學基本學力測驗成績為所就讀班級排名後四分之一,而其在校期間之前四學期學業總平均為該班級排名前四分之一者,共有11位個案研究樣本。以影響學業成就之個人、家庭、教師、學校等四個主要層面因素進行探討,透過文獻分析、半結構式訪談與調查等為方法,對11位個案及8位班導師的受訪資料及訪談逐字稿,進行質化分析。以達成下列研究目的: 1.探討高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之個人層面因素。 2.探討高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之家庭層面因素。 3.探討高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之教師層面因素。 4.探討高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之學校層面因素。 5.探討影響高職學生低入學成績、高學業成就各層面因素之影響程度順序。 針對高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就影響因素之研究,其研究發現為: 1.影響高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之個人層面因素為學習態度、學習動機、入學管道、自我效能、同儕關係、求助行為、學習策略及自我期望。 2.影響高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之家庭層面因素為家庭氣氛、教育參與、教育態度、管教方式、教育期望。 3.影響高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之教師層面因素為教師期望、師生關係、班級經營、班級氣氛、教學方法及教學評量。 4.影響高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就之學校層面因素為校園規劃、學校資源、課業輔導策略、課程規劃及教育政策。 5.影響高職學生低入學成績而高學業成就的四個層面因素中,最主要的影響因素是學生個人層面因素及家庭層面因素,學校層面因素與教師層面因素的影響性,低於上述兩個層面因素的影響。 本研究最後根據研究結論,對學校、教師、家長、學生及後續研究分別提出相關建議,以供實務應用與未來研究參考。

The study aims to explore the related factors of low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement of vocational high school students when they graduated. The scope of the study is each graduate of Lotung vocational high school in 100 school year. The subjects of this study are students whose junior high school basic competence test results rank in the top one quarter of their class. Eleven students were selected as study samples, their average academic grades in the previous four semesters rank in the top one-fourth of their class. We discuss four major aspects of factors affect the academic achievement such as individuals, families, teachers and schools by using literary analysis, semi-structured interviews and surveys for information and interviews on eleven cases and eight homeroom teachers, the influencing factors were narrated and analyzed in this qualitative oriented research. To achieve the following purposes: 1. Explore low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement of vocational high school students at individual level factors. 2. Explore low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement of vocational high school students at family level factors. 3. Explore low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement of vocational high school students at teacher level factors. 4. Explore low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement of vocational high school students in school level factors. 5. Explore the impact of students’ low entrance examination but get high academic achievement at all levels of the factors that affect the degree of order. The findings of this research were: 1. The individual level factors that influence student’s low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement are learning attitude, learning motivation, admission, self-efficiency, peer relationship, help-seeking behavior, learning strategies and self-expectations. 2. The family level factors that influence student’s low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement are family atmosphere, educational participation, educational attitudes, parenting styles and educational expectations. 3. The teacher level factors that influence student’s low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement are teachers’ expectations, teacher-student relationship, classroom management, class climate, teaching methods and teaching assessment. 4. The school level factors that influence student’s low entrance examination grade but get high academic achievement are campus planning, school resources, tutoring strategies, curriculum planning and educational policy. 5. Among four levels of factors that affect students’ low entrance examination but get high academic achievement, the most influential factor is the students’ individual level factors and family level factors. The influence of school level factors and teacher level factors on students was lower than the above two levels of factors. Finally, based on the conclusions above, the study comes up respectively with related suggestions on schools, teachers, parents, students and follow-up study so as to provide practical application and references for further research.
