Chinese Abstract

國家地震工程研究中心自2001年以來,已經舉辦了十屆抗震大作戰活動。該活動邀集各校學生,以學校為單位組隊報名。各隊依規則建造小型建物模型,再把模型放置在振動台上測試它們的耐震能力。主辦單位每年均對建物模型的規則作微調,以激發學生創意。然而,由於缺乏一個可靠的數值模型,主辦單位每年僅能以有限人力針對新規則製作相當有限的實體模型,作為新規則可行性的測試評估,不但耗費時間,而且不易對每年更新的規則進行完整的評估測試。   本研究首先建立2010年抗震大作戰大專組建物模型的數值模型。並依過去參賽模型設計與它們在比賽中的實際反應,調校本研究的數值模型。再以此延伸做為後續新規則模型的數值模擬測試,用以評估新規則的可行性。本研究利用影像量測的方式取得模型的動態歷時位移,並採用OpenSees作為數值模擬工具。

English Abstract

Since 2001, the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (NCREE) has been annually holding the Introducing and Demonstrating Earthquake Engineering Research in Schools (IDEERS) for ten years. These activities invite students from high schools, college, and graduate schools. Each team is asked to build a physical model of a building based on some rules, then place it on the shake table to test their seismic resistance performance. The NCREE makes slight modifications on rules every year to encourage students’ creativity. However, due to the lack of a reliable numerical model and limited manpower, the NCREE needs to build a few physical models to estimate whether the new rules are practicable. Numerical models are needed to facilitate the estimation and testing of regular new rule changes.   This work established physical models’ numerical model for undergraduate teams. This work built a numerical model and modified it according to their model designs and reactions in the contest. This work took this model as a benchmark model. According on the benchmark model, this work further built several numerical models based on new rules, and tested these new-rule numerical models. This work used image-based measurement method to get physical models’ dynamic displacement responses. Numerical analysis were conducted by using OpenSees Navigator. This paper provided a analyze method to people who has interesting in IDEERS new rule or willing to join other earthquake-resistant contests.
