超音波輔助零價鐵程序處理壬基苯酚聚乙氧基醇(NPnEO)與氫氧自由基反應機制之研究

摘要


壬基苯酚聚乙氧基醇(NPnEO)為工業常用的非離子界面活性劑,經由微生物分解產生類似環境荷爾蒙的壬基苯酚(NP)造成生物雌性化,本研究利用超音波輔助零價鐵程序(批次及管柱)進行NPnEO去除與並探討氫氧自由基產生及其與NPnEO反應的機制探討。 零價鐵結合超音波處理壬基苯酚聚乙氧基醇探討因子分別為pH值(2.0、2.5、3.0、4.0)、曝氧(100 % O2、20 % O2、0 % O2)與零價鐵加藥量(1、3、5、10 g/L)進行分析,之後再利用超音波輔助零價鐵探討氫氧自由基分別進行氫氧自由基捕捉劑(水楊酸、二甲基亞碸)、pH值(2.0、3.0、4.0)與水力停留時間(10、30、60)等實驗參數的影響。 零價鐵結合超音波的處理NPnEO100 mg/L,在零價鐵5 g/L時,其去除效果為54 %,總有機碳的去除效果為6.6 %,而增加水中溶氧量有助於提升NPnEO之去除率至70 %,TOC的去除率增加至9.3 %,所以提升水中溶氧有助於零價鐵結合超音波去除NPnEO。 而本研究利用氫氧自由基捕捉劑反應形成的中間產物所產生的劑量進行換算後得到氫氧自由基產生量,最後利用NPnEO與氫氧自由基反應分析,在pH值為4.0,水力停留時間為60 min時,產生的氫氧自由基劑量為0.069 mM,NPnEO去除效果為28 %,當降低pH值至2.0時,氫氧自由基劑量提升至0.089 mM,NPnEO去除效果也增加至42 %,所以降低pH值會影響NPnEO去除結果與氫氧自由基生成量,最後利用超音波輔助零價鐵去除壬基苯酚聚乙氧基醇之結果,其反應後所產生的中間產物分析為D-Allose、Butanoic acid、Benzene、3,4-Altrosan、Ethanol。

Nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPnEO) are used for industrial non-ionic surfactants and lead to the formation of biorefractory metabolites such as nonylphenols (NP) which is an endocrine-disrupting chemical affecting human endocrine system. Nonylphenol ethoxylates was degraded by ultrasound (US) assisted zero valent iron(US/ZVI) process. In the US/ZVI system, the highest NPnEO removal was 54 % and TOC removal of NPnEO was 6.6 % under optimal condition (NPnEO 100 mg/L, pH 2, ZVI 5g/L). Under the same experimental condition, the removals for US/ZVI aeration system (100 % O2) can increase to 70 % and 9.3 % for NPnEO removal and TOC removal of NPnEO, respectively. Therefore, high oxygen concentration could enhance the removal efficiency. NPnEO were degraded by US/ZVI and evaluated by hydroxyl radical column system. In the US/ZVI system, the pH value was 4.0 and HRT 60 min, and the result shows that the generated hydroxyl radical was 0.069 mM and NPnEO removal was 28 %. When pH was 2.0, the result shows that the hydroxyl radical was raised to 0.086 mM and NPnEO removal was raised to 42 %. Finally, the analysis of the degraded products shows D-Allose, Butanoic acid, Benzene, 3, 4-Altrosan, Ethanol.
