台北市高職生自我概念與生涯發展之相關研究

A Study on the Relationship between Self-Concept and Career-Development of the Students at Vocational High School in Taipei,R.O.C.

摘要


本研究旨在探討台北市高職生自我概念與生涯發展的現況及相關情形,主要的研究目的為:瞭解台北市高職生自我概念及生涯發展現況、分析不同背景變項的高職生在自我概念與生涯發展各層面的差異情形、探討高職生之背景變項及自我概念對生涯發展的預測力、綜合研究發現提出建議。 本研究採用文獻分析法及問卷調查法,研究範圍聚焦在台北市高職生,抽取12所台北市高職學校,1440份問卷,有效問卷1180份,有效問卷回收率81.9%。研究工具以自編之「台北市高職生自我概念及生涯發展之調查問卷」,內容包括基本資料、自我概念及生涯發展三部份。採用統計方法為次數分配、平均數、標準差、t檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關及多元逐步迴歸分析。 本研究獲得主要結論如下: 1.台北市高職生的自我概念現況傾向於中等程度的現況,其中以「體能自我」最佳,以「數學自我」最為不理想。 2.台北市高職生的生涯發展以「生涯信念」及「生涯探索」較佳,以「生涯感受」最為不理想。 3.性別、就讀類科及社經地位對台北市高職生的自我概念造成差異;年級則沒有影響。 4.台北市高職生以男生、就讀工業類科者的自我概念較為積極正向。 5.台北市高職生以女生、就讀家事類科及醫事類科者的自我概念較為消極負向。 6.性別、年級及就讀類科對台北市高職生的生涯發展造成差異;社經地位則沒有影響。 7.台北市高職生以女生、就讀藝術類科者的生涯成熟度較高。 8.台北市高職生以男生、就讀工業類科者的生涯成熟度較低。 9.台北市高職生的自我概念與生涯發展之間有顯著相關。 10.台北市高職生背景變項及自我概念能預測高職生的生涯發展,其中以專業科目自我較具預測力而性別居次。 根據以上的結論,本研究亦提供一些建議,供職業學校、家長及教育相關人員參考。

The purposes of this study were to investigate the students’ self-concept and career-development at vocational high school in Taipei and to explore the relationship between them. The main objectives of this study were: Investigating the students’ self-concept and career-development at vocational high school in Taipei,analyzing the relationship between different background elements and students’ self-concept, investigating the students’ career-development at vocational high school in Taipei, analyzing the relationship between different background elements and students’ career-development, the relationship between self-concept and career-development, and generalizing the findings and providing suggestions. The method of questionnaire survey was adopted in this research to collect data. A “students’ self-concept and career-development at voc-high schools in Taipei” questionnaire was developed as the self-concept and career-development scale .Scopes were taken from vocational high school students in Taipei. A total of 12 schools, and 1,440 subjects were sampled. The 1,180 effective questionnaires were collected and the usability was 81.9%. The statistics techniques applied were frequency distribution, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one factor ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and step-wise selection of multiple regression analysis etc. The major findings of this study were as follow: 1.The students’ over all self-concept at vocational high school in Taipei was medium, the best was physical self-concept but mathematic self-concept was the worst. 2.For vocational senior high school students, the career-conviction and career-probing were better, but the career-feeling was less satisfactory. 3.Sex , vocational type and parents’ social-economic status significantly affected student’s self-concept while grade did not affect. 4.Sex, vocational type and grade make significantly different in career-development but parents’ social-economic status does not. 5.Female students, studying in atr departments at vocational high school in Taipei had more mature career-development. 6.Male students, studying in industrial departments of the at vocational high school in Taipei had worse career-development. 7. The relationship between self-concept and career-development of the students at vocational high school in Taipei was positive correlation. 8.As to the prediction of self-concept and background variables on career-development, the factor of professional category and sex shows better predictability. Based on the conclusions above, this research also provide some suggestions with reference to vocational high school administrators, parents and related educational authorities.
