無機聚合物添加水庫淤泥之齡期強度研究

A Study on the Aging Strength of Geopolymer Adding Reservoir Sludge

摘要


傳統夯土磚常為歷史建築物及古蹟的構築材料,其抗壓強度不足早已眾所周知。前行研究以無機聚合樹脂膠結粘土材料展現了強度提高的效果,也為古蹟修補提供了新材料。本研究則嘗試採用原屬廢棄物而成本低廉的水庫淤泥,以無機聚合物膠結來探討其性能。為利於與前期結果比較,本試驗研究除石門水庫淤泥外,同時亦使用紅黃兩種黏土,分別以不同比例添加於無機聚合物製成試體進行基本物理性質與不同齡期抗壓強度試驗。因當固體添加量較多時會有工作度不佳的狀況,本研究則以添加無機聚合液方式改善以保持鹼液濃度。結果顯示以無機聚合物膠結黏土或石門水庫淤泥,其物理性質與抗壓強度的差異並不明顯,而添加石門水庫淤泥者之早期強度較添加黃紅黏土者更有相對穩定的現象。可初步驗證應用無機聚合物膠結,石門水庫淤泥與粘土有著類同的效果,這或可替消耗石門水庫淤泥找到一條新的出路。

Traditional rammed earth bricks were frequently construction material for historical buildings and ancient sites. Its poor compressive strength was well known. Previous researches made use of geopolymer resin as a bond material to cohere clay and formulated a new material. It displayed not only better strength, but a potential of strengthening historical buildings. The present study was then attempted to adopt a low cost waste, namely reservoir sludge, adding into geopolymer to investigate its properties. Two different clay materials were applied again along with the sludge to test their basic physical properties as well as strength at different ages. Since the experiments were proceeded by adding dry solid materials into geopolymer, the workability might be easily getting very poor. This was overcome by adding additional liquid solution of the geopolymer in order to maintain the concentration of the alkalinity. The results revealed that no matter adding reservoir sludge or clay materials into the geopolymer, there were not too much different in physical properties and compressive strength among them. As for the strength for earlier age, the reservoir sludge performed even more stable than those of clay materials. It is seen that when added into geopolymer, the reservoir sludge has a similar effect as clay materials, and thus may be a new prospect for consuming the reservoir sludge.
