無機添加物對矽橡膠熱物性之影響

摘要


本實驗分別選用室溫熟成型矽橡膠(RTV silicone rubber)以及高溫熟成型矽橡膠(HTV silicone rubber)作為高分子基材,再加入不同比例各種填充材料,例如:奈米雲母、奈米二氧化矽、碳纖維等無機材料,並以雙滾筒混煉法來製備矽橡膠複合混成材料,再經由其機械性質、耐燒蝕、黏著試驗等量測,來探討添加不同填充材及其添加量對矽橡膠熱物性之影響。實驗結果顯示,選用RTV矽橡膠作為基材,在機械攪拌下添加3phr的四級銨鹽改質mica,所得複材的抗張強度可增加22%,楊氏模數可提升48%。在耐燒蝕測試方面,發現添加3phr的四級銨鹽改質mica,可延長矽橡膠試片燒穿時間達兩倍以上。 在高溫熟成型矽橡膠選用代號為HTV-40作為高分子基材,在基材添加3phr奈米二氧化矽,其抗張強度可增加30%,楊氏模數有33%的提升。HTV-40矽橡膠複材的耐燒蝕時間則是以添加5 phr碳纖維具有最佳的耐熱沖刷性,可持續一小時以上不被燒穿。至於90°抗撕強度部份,以HTV-60矽橡膠為基材,再與添加偶合劑CA-1的環氧樹脂進行貼合,其黏著強度比使用HTV-40矽橡膠為基材者,有顯著的提升。本實驗未來除機械性質探討外,在熱性質方面還有許多值得研究的部份如熱重分析與圓錐量熱儀燃燒測試等,其研究結果亦可作為開發彈性體耐燒蝕複合材料的重要依據。

In this study, room-temperature-vulcanized (RTV) silicone rubber and high-temperature-vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubber are use to prepare silicone composites. Silicone composites were prepared by adding different proportion of mica, silica or carbon fiber. The inorganic filler was thoroughly dispersed in silicone rubber by two-roll mill. This study focused on the influences of various fillers and additive level on the mechanical, thermal properties, anti-ablation and 90∘peel strength of the silicone hybrids. Mechanical test shown that the RTV silicone rubber had a 22% increase in tensile strength and 48% increase in Young’s modulus by adding 3phr mica. Furthermore, the anti-ablation tests proved that the composites containing 3phr mica had more time to be ablated by flame. Mechanical tests shown that HTV silicone rubber had a 30% increase in tensile strength and 33% increase in Young’s modulus by adding 3phr silica. Furthermore, the anti-ablation tests shown that HTV silicone rubber added up to 5phr carbon fiber had good heat resistance property. The composite withstand an hour under the flame. The HTV silicone rubber was coated with the mixture of coupling agent(CA-1) and epoxy as the specimens for 90° peel test in the adhesive properties examination. Specimens HTV-60 silicone rubber composite showed higher peel strength than HTV-40 silicone rubber composite.
