兩岸分偶家庭女性配偶親職經驗之探究—以子女就讀桃園縣國小之家庭為例

摘要


本研究以「兩岸分偶家庭女性配偶親職經驗」為主題。研究者採用深度訪談的方式來蒐集所需的資料,以桃園縣十二名兩岸分偶家庭的女性配偶,且子女就讀國小階段者為研究對象。先探討因兩岸分偶的家庭型態對其親職經驗的四大面向之影響。再探究當中所面臨了哪些親職挑戰,而其因應之道又為何。 一、 因兩岸分偶的型態,而使子女日常生活照顧情形產生改變,包括:日常生活型態調整的幅度、因分偶而改變家務處理的型態及家中休閒活動的型態。 二、 兩岸分偶家庭母親與子女情感基礎穩固,而父親則以積極的行動來與子女培養情感。 三、 兩岸分偶家庭子女學習活動是由母親一手安排並全程參與孩子在校的活動。而父親則是選擇性的參與,當父親缺席孩子在校活動時,多數孩子心中並無特殊感受。 四、兩岸分偶家庭父母對子女行為規範與管教的情形,包括:父母管教觀念一致, 較少引發管教衝突;在管教面向上,是多方面並重的。 五、兩岸分偶家庭所面臨的親職挑戰為:母職負荷過重而引發過高的親職壓力、 父職角色的日漸疏離、面臨工作與家庭兩難的困境、容易引發教養衝突、對 小孩的身心發展產生負面的影響。 六、兩岸分偶家庭親職挑戰因應之道為:提升共親職的程度、以溝通來化解管教 衝突、以密切的互動來維繫家人的情感、密切關心孩子的心理變化、用心規 劃家庭的未來。 根據上述研究結果,分別對兩岸分偶家庭的父親、母親、孩子及其學校教師、台商企業、政府及後續研究者提出建議。

This research aims to explore “Parenting Experiences of Female Spouse of Across-Strait-Separated Families” as theme. The author first collected adequate data and information by administering in-depth interviews taking 12 female spouses of across-Strait-separated families with children at elementary school as subjects of the research. The research first examines impacts from the pattern of the separated families to the four major aspects of parenting experiences, and then explores what challenges to parenting practice in each aspect the female spouses face and what the contingent measures are likely to work. 1. The pattern of across-Strait separated families leads to changes in delivering cares to children’s daily living, including: the amplitude of adjustment in daily living pattern, the change in housework pattern and the home leisure activity pattern due to being one of the separated families. 2. In the across-Strait separated families, in the aspect of attachment, the mother holds firm attachments from the children, while the father tries to build intimacy and attachment from the children by actions actively. 3. In the across-Strait separated families, in the aspect of children’s learning, the mother arranges exclusively and participates throughout entire course the children’s learning activities, esp. on campus, while in contrast, the father participates selectively, and the absence of the father from the on campus activity leads to little affection to the children in feeling. 4. In the across-Strait separated families, in the aspect of behavior benchmarks and discipline, the parents holding the common and consistent discipline concept leads to comparatively less controversy in discipline, and the parents hold multiple values emphasized attitude. 5. The major challenges arising in the across-Strait separated families are: the mother is overloaded in parenting and thus suffers from excessive parenting stress, the father role dissipates leading to alienation gradually, the father suffers from dilemma between caring the career and the family, likely to cause conflicts in children caring and discipline and eventually lead to negative affection to the children’s physical and mental development. 6. For the across-Strait separated families, the parenting strategies for contingent measures are recommended as the follows: Promote co-parenting where possible, communicate better to resolve possible discipline controversies, interact intimately and closely to maintain the intimacy between the family members, watch closely and pay concern to the children in their psychological changes; and contemplate and formulate wholeheartedly the plan for the future of the families. At last the author presents the proposal, on the basis of the said research results, to the mother, father and children of the across-Strait-separated families, and their school teachers, Taiwanese businessmen in China, governmental officers and the upcoming interested persons.
