銀髮族使用科技產品之行為及因素探討－以平板電腦為例

由於醫療衛生與生活品質的改善，延長了人類的平均壽命也造成老年人口的增加，這樣的趨勢也讓企業開始著重銀髮市場。但在網際網路與無線通訊技術的蓬勃發展之下，銀髮族群採用與接受新科技的程度仍然偏低。且過去與科技接受相關之文獻皆著重於工作環境而非生活目的。因此，銀髮族的主觀意願以及其他影響他們採用及接受新科技的因素相當值得討論。本研究利用焦點團體訪談法，並以整合性科技接受與採用模型為基礎，試圖找出可能影響銀髮族使用平板電腦的因素。結果發現，平板電腦對於銀髮族來說並不難；如果有機會，銀髮族也相當願意使用平板電腦。不過，研究也發現，銀髮族的「實際需求」將影響他們是否「實際使用」平板電腦。此外，本研究也總結相關影響因素以供後續於探討銀髮族科技接受與採用時的參考。

The improvement of hygiene and life quality has prolonged human average age and results in increasing elderly population. This trend has forced business to pay attention to the aging market. Under the prosperous development of internet and wireless communication technology, there is still low adoption of new technology among the elderly group. However, the previous discussions of technology adoption are more on the job place instead of life purposes. Therefore, it is worthy to discuss the seniors’ subjective willingness and other factors that affect them to adopt and accept a new technology in their daily lives. The focus group interview was conducted by this study to find out the factors that may influence the elderly group’s intention to use Tablet PCs based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The result shows that the seniors find it is not so hard when comparing to computers, and they also express their willingness to accept and use a tablet if they have the chance. However, this study found out that the senior’s “actual need” will stop or encourage them to actually use it. Besides, the factors that would influence their intention to use a tablet are also concluded.
