本文研究以民國92-96年台灣地區國際觀光旅館營運調查資料為基礎,結合資料包絡分析法(DEA)與麥氏生產力指數法(MPI),衡量台灣地區47家國際觀光旅館之總效率(TE)、純技術效率(PTE)、規模效率(SE)其效率值,提供廠商對後續經營效率改善的參考。 實證結果顯示2007年整體效率值來看,全國大飯店、高雄國賓大飯店及寒軒國際表現最差前三名,效率值分別為0.3664、0.4008、0.4072,其中高雄國賓大飯店平均規模效率為0.8664尚可,應以最適資源投入組合優先調整技術效率,而寒軒國際大飯表現最差,需同時調整資源投入組合與生產規模來創造最大產出;跨期效率變動來看,92-96年間總平均生產力變動指數(TFP)為1.125,顯示產業生產力總平均成長12.5%,其生產力是來自於技術變動率的成長。
This research applied Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Malmquist Productivity Indices (MPI) to study the compiled data during the period of 2003-2007 from 47 international tourist hotels in Taiwan for evaluating their overall efficiency, productivity vicissitude. The findings show that Hotel National with average value 0.3664 , Ambassador Hotel with 0.4008, Han-Hsien International Hotel with 0.4072 rank the bottom 3 for overall efficiency. The total average production variation indices (TFP) of hotels is 1.125, showing 12.5%, the total average growth in terms of industry productivity, which based on the grown of technological change rate. The result may serve as improvement for the managerial suggestion.
