液晶顯示器目前在市場上已開啟大量的訂單需求,使用新技術開發顯示器應用產品是各大廠商搶攻市場大餅的唯一方法。儘管市場需求龐大,LCD TV液晶顯示器卻會產生色偏問題。為了改善這樣的問題,傳統研發專案的研發人員大都以試誤法進行參數之最佳化調整,唯改善效率非常緩慢,甚至耽誤到新產品開發的時程。目前市場上僅高階產品有「廣視角」功能可以降低色偏問題,預計未來也將成為大尺寸液晶顯示器產品之基本功能。 本研究以液晶電視色偏問題為主要研究重點,利用六標準差設計方法協助研發人員進行問題改善。藉由六標準差設計之DMADV程序,透過萃智方法找到設計概念,並利用田口方法找出從畫素電極結構最佳化設計進行改善,使得研究案例在短時間內獲得良好的色偏( Color Shift )改善,提升試產良率、進而申請專利。本研究之專案小組成功運用DFSS手法改善色偏問題,淨現值相當於NTD$ 5.3億,同時也帶動TFT LCD TV液晶顯示器市場訂單的活絡。
Along with the huge scale of LCD TV demands in the markets, the only one way to acquire market share is doing research and development with new technology. Notwithstanding the demand scaled LCD TV has serious problem of color shift. In the past, research and development staff tried to maximize its parameter by try and error method, which delay the schedule of new product development with inefficiently improvement. Therefore, there are only high end LCD TVs with Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment ability can reduce the extent of color shift, which is also predicted to be the elemental function of big size LCD TVs. The purpose of this study is to improve color shift problem of LCD TV by performing Design for Six Sigma method. With the implementation of DMADV of Design for Six Sigma, this study finds out design ideas with the implementation of TRIZ. Moreover, this study executes improvement by optimizing the pixels electrode structure according to the adoption of Taguchi Method. Finally, the project has reached a significant improvement of color shift rapidly, upgrade the quality of production, and apply for patent. The contribution of this study is that research staff has improved color shift by implying DFSS, which bring forth extra net income of $530 million New Taiwan Dollars, and enlarge the market scale of TFT LCD TV.
