TFT-LCD彩色濾光片廠之排程研究

摘要


由於全球化的競爭與不斷下降的利潤,薄膜電晶體液晶顯示器 (Thin Film Transistor - Liquid Crystal Display, TFT-LCD) 產業透過改善生產效率及降低週期時間來保有本身的競爭力,其中彩色濾光片 (Color Filter, CF)為TFT-LCD的關鍵零組件之一,佔其總成本相當大的比例。生產排程對於彩色濾光片廠之生產績效有相當大的重要性。本研究藉由無限產能的概念,針對彩色濾光片廠發展一套多廠之生產排程系統 (Production Scheduling System, PSS)。PSS包含訂單優先序模組 (Order Priority Module, OPM)、訂單投料模組 (Lot Release Module, LRM)、訂單選廠模組 (Fab Selection Module, FSM)、工作負荷堆疊模組 (Workload Accumulation Module, WAM)及工作負荷平衡模組 (Workload Balance Module, WBM),由上述五個模組決定訂單之開始時間及生產廠區。 本研究利用Microsoft Visual Basic for Application (VBA) 建置本研究之生產排程規劃系統。相關之彩色濾光片生產數據收集自實際工廠,並利用實驗設計探討PSS之績效。模擬結果顯示本研究發展之PSS可快速得到排程結果,並能有效降低整備時間及提高達交率與產出量。

Intense global competition and declining profit have caused most TFT-LCD manufactures to increase their competitiveness by improving productivity and reducing cycle times. Color Filter (CF) is one of the key components of TFT-LCD, and production scheduling planning is crucial to the performance and competitiveness of CF Fabs. In this research, Production Scheduling System (PSS) is proposed for TFT-LCD color filter Fabs on the basis of a heuristic method with infinite capacity assumption. PSS is developed to assign orders, control order release time and balance the loading at each Fab by the implementation of five major modules: Order Priority, Lot Release, Fab Selection, Workload Accumulation, and Workload Balance. Microsoft Visual Basic for Application (VBA) was used to develop PSS. Industrial data from real CF Fabs are collected and used to evaluate the performance of the proposed PSS based on the design of experiments. Preliminary simulation results show that PSS can get scheduling result quickly, furthermore, can effectively and efficiently reduce setup time, improve on-time delivery and increase throughput.
