Chinese Abstract

本研究以1996至2004年台灣半導體產業中前兩大公司發明人為研究對象。本研究結果顯示,從事探勘目的之移動發明人的創新績效較未移動的發明人為佳。此外,從事探索目的之移動發明人的創新績效較未移動的發明人為佳。最後,發明人移動前公司與移動後的聘任公司有中度的技術重疊時,發明人的創新績效會較佳。

English Abstract

This study uses inventors in two major companies in Taiwan’s semiconductor industry during the period 1996-2004 as research sample. The results of this study show that inventors moving to another with the exploitation purpose have better innovation performance than non-moving inventors do. Besides, inventors moving to another with the exploration purpose have better innovation performance than non-moving inventors do. Finally, the moderate degree of the technology overlap between original company and new company achieves the better innovation performance.
