中文摘要 綜觀整個台灣的玩具公仔創作領域,雖然台灣人所能接觸的玩具可謂極多元化,但可惜的是台灣人並沒有去重視和發展保有自身文化所設計出來的玩具,整個台灣的玩具市場具有台灣文化特質的玩具可說是寥寥無幾。台灣的創作界在玩具創作上的人才少之又少,玩具公仔創作這是一塊值得台灣人發展的領域,更是發展自我文化的一個平台,本研究運用玩具公仔設計創作這個主題讓全世界認識台灣。 本創作論文旨在透過「流行文化潮流」層面的切入探討,了解亞洲地區流行文化潮流的內涵,並分析流行文化潮流下玩具公仔的發展。採用「文獻分析法」來探討青少年流行文化及玩具公仔設計兩者之關聯性和玩具公仔設計未來之走向,根據此來引導本研究創作作品之導向,創作出屬於「台灣青少年文化潮流」的玩具公仔設計。
Abstract From the observation of the figure-designing groups in Taiwan, we can learn that Taiwanese figure-designing artists are capable of contacting various sorts of toys from the world. But there exists a problem that most Taiwanese artists ignore our own traditional culture features and also lack of efforts to present our own culture to the world and to develop toys which show our unique Taiwanese culture. Artists in Taiwan are rare people involve in the design field of toy-designing. This makes toy-designing an undeveloped area, and is worth expecting in the future. This paper is about to focus on the subject of pop culture, and to discuss the prospect of toy-designing by figuring out Asian pop culture trends and spirits. The method of document-analyzing will be used in this paper in order to find out the relationship between pop culture trends and outlook for toy-designing. The conclusion may lead to the ideal ways and thoughts of creating the Taiwan-adolescents’ pop cultural toy figures.
