從品質管理觀點探討內裝石材的加工與應用

摘要

天然石材的種類因形成方式各異，故各具其色澤與紋理，能夠塑造室內空間之氛圍，使內裝石材工程為使用者所重視之項目。石材常運用於玄關、客廳地坪、電視牆、餐桌、吧檯、衛浴空間、電梯間等公共區域，故應掌握石材特性使能展現室內空間之設計品質與氛圍。本研究目的為：1.探討石材品質不良狀況與成因2.提出石材品質預防之策略3.就石材選用與加工，提出石材設計規劃方法。研究先從文獻的石材材料特性、應用方式、加工方法、安裝施工、石材防護與美容修復、品質管理等觀點進行整合，並採取實地調查，在石材加工廠進行工作觀察，在裝修現場就內裝石材工程中常見之品質不良狀況進行深入探討，其成因包括：1.材料特性因素2.自然因素3.人為因素4.施工管理因素。就品質管理觀點提出改善策略：1.適材適所：選用石材應將材料特性及使用用途一併考量。2.精益求精：包括板材裁切前的紋路模擬排列、收邊方式選擇與嚴謹的工程管理。3.保養維護：避免石材表面的防護劑受到自然因素及人為因素影響而逐漸失去防護功能；並研提「室內裝修石材工程檢核表」，做為石材工程品質提升之工具。設計規劃方面，石材應根據適用位置、視覺美感與使用功能等考量，選擇合適之加工方法，再就內裝石材工程的前期準備與後期收尾工作，擬出設計規劃之參考重點。

The types of natural stones vary because of the way of formation, so each has its own hue and texture to create the atmosphere in the interior space. Therefore, users put a great emphasis on the construction of indoor stones. Stones are often used for public spaces such as entrances, floors in the living room, television walls, dining tables, countertops, bathrooms, and elevator hoistways, so the characteristics of stones should be mastered in order to exhibit the design quality and atmosphere of the interior space. The aims of this study were the following. I. To investigate the poor quality of stones and its cause. II. To provide preventive measures for the quality of stones. III. To provide methods of the design and planning of stones in terms of the selection and processing of stones. This study integrated the material characteristics of stones, application, processing, installation, stone protection, repair, and quality management. A field study was adopted, with the researcher observing the working process in a stone processing plant. At the construction site, the common poor conditions of quality in interior stone constructions were investigated in depth. The reasons included: I. Material characteristics. II. Natural factors. III. Human factors. IV. Construction and management. From the perspective of quality management, the following strategies for improvement were offered. I. Right stone in the right place: The material characteristics and the use of stones should be considered together in stone selection. II. Excellence and excelsior: This included the simulation of texture arrangement before plate cutting, the methods of trimming, and rigorous construction management. III. Maintenance: The protectants on the surface of stones should be preserved for fear of losing their protection due to natural and human factors. The “Engineering Checklist for Interior Decorative Stone Construction” was proposed as a tool to elevate the quality of stone constructions. In terms of design planning, the appropriate way of processing stones should consider the suitable position, visual aesthetics, and the function of usage of stones. Pre-preparation and winding up of interior stone constructions should then be examined in order to offer guidance of design planning.
