本研究旨在了解新移民子女族群認同與生活適應現況及不同背景變項間的差異情形,並探討彼此間的關係。為達到研究目的採用問卷調查法進行研究,以臺北市國小五、六年級之新移民子女學生為研究對象,採立意取樣的方式進行,有效樣本共計351份,根據問卷填答結果,以平均數、標準差、獨立樣本t檢定、單因子變異數分析、Pearson 積差相關以及多元逐步迴歸分析等方法進行資料處理。 依據資料分析結果本研究結論如下: 一、新移民子女族群認同程度良好,其中「族群身份自我認定」表現最高,而「族群行為」表現最低。 二、新移民子女生活適應現況良好,其中「家庭適應」表現最高,而「學校適應」最低。 三、新移民子女族群認同會因為性別、家庭社經地位而有差異,但不會因為年級、母親國籍而有所不同。 四、新移民子女生活適應會因為性別而有所差異,但不會因為年級、母親國籍、家庭社經地位而有所不同。 五、新移民子女族群認同程度愈高,其生活適應能力也愈好。 六、新移民子女族群認同各層面中,以「族群態度」對其整體生活適應狀況最具解釋力。 根據結論,提出建議,以供教育行政機關、學校教育人員及未來研究者之參考。 關鍵字:新移民子女、族群認同、生活適應
The main purposes of this study are to understand ethnic identification and life adaptation of the new immigrants’ children, to examine how their different background variables affect them, and to discuss the correlation. To fulfill the purpose, the study was done by using questionnaire survey and purposive sampling. New immigrants’ children ranging from fifth grader to sixth grader from different elementary schools in Taipei were sampled. There were 351 valid responses from the survey, and the data was analyzed by using the methodology of Mean, Standard Deviation, Coefficient of Variance, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Pearson's product-moment correlation, and multiple regression. The main findings of this study are as follows: 1. The new immigrants’ children with medium and higher ethic identification develop better on ethnic self-identification and less on ethnic behavior. 2. The new immigrants’ children with medium and higher life adaptation develop better on family adaptation and less on school adaptation. 3. The new immigrants’ children agree with the development of ethnic identification differs due to sex, family social-economic status,not due to grade,mother’s nationality. 4. The new immigrants’ children agree with the development of life adaptation differs due to sex, not due to grade, mother’s nationality, family social-economic status. 5. There was a positive correlation in ethnic identity and life adaptation of the new immigrants’ children The more ethnic identity of the new immigrants’ children was, the better development of life adaptation was. 6. From all perspective of ethnic identity, ethnic attitudes is the most powerful factor to explain the life adaptation as a whole. Suggestions based on the conclusion was offered as references for educational institutions, school teachers, and further research.
