探討兩岸製造業廠商加入與退出之差異

摘要


本文將民國94、96、97、98、99、101年等年度的台灣工商校正資料,以panel data形式做整理,並以廠商加入與退出為應變數,探討台灣製造業廠商進出產業市場的因素,同時從淨廠商加入數切入,比較兩岸製造業產業市場因素差異。 實證結果可歸納下列結論: 1.產業特性(產業規模、資本密集度)才是造成台灣製造業廠商進出的主要因素;廠商因素(利潤率、利潤成長率、銷貨率、勞動生產力指數)對廠商進出影響並不顯著。 2.與台灣相比,中國的製造業正處於成長期,台灣製造業產業成長則已趨穩定。 3.影響兩岸廠商淨加入市場的因素及效果不盡相同。台灣以產業規模為主,且為強烈的正向關係;中國則是產業規模、資本密集度影響較鉅,而兩岸具差異性的還有利潤成長率;利潤成長率對台灣製造業廠商淨加入為負向關係,中國則與台灣相反,利潤成長率對中國製造業廠商淨加入為正向關係。

In this study, we use panel data method to organize and neat corrected data of 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010 and 2012 Industry and Commerce Census of Taiwan, and take the numbers of entered or exited enterprises as variable factors to explore the reason of why manufacturing enterprises enter or exit from the market in Taiwan. Also, we compared different factors between Taiwan and China manufacturing industry market by using net number of entered enterprises. We found that, firstly, the industrial property (industrial scale, capital intensity) was the critical factor which could influence Taiwan manufacturers to enter or to exit. Second, compared with Taiwan, China manufacturing industry is in the growth stage while Taiwan manufacturing industry has been during stabilization period. Third, the factors and the effect that influence Taiwan and China manufacturers to entry the market are not exactly the same. There was a significant positive relationship between net number of entered enterprises and industrial scale in Taiwan market. There was also a negative correlation between profit growth rate and net number of entered enterprises in Taiwan. However, there was a positive correlation between profit growth rate and net number of entered enterprises in China manufacturers. The industrial scale and capital intensity were critical for net number of entered enterprises in China market. This finding indicated that Taiwan need to find out both opportunities and advantages of industrial development.
