青少年的身體意象及其預測因子：以新北市某國中為例

What Influences the Body Image of Adolescents: A Case Study of Junior High School Students in New Taipei City

摘要

本研究旨在探討影響青少年身體意象的預測因子。以新北市某一所國中的學生進行便利抽樣，共585人為樣本，分析個人特質與社會文化因子對整體外觀滿意度及個人自覺吸引力的影響程度。研究發現：1.女性對整體外觀滿意度較男性低2.個人BMI值過重時，對整體外觀滿意度及個人自覺吸引力皆為負向相關3.青少年受社會文化中的刻版印象影響越大，則對整體外觀滿意度及個人自覺吸引力越為正向相關4.成績對自覺個人吸引力有正向相關。

With sample from a junior high school from New Taipei City, this study explores the impact of individual characteristics and socio-cultural factors on the body image of adolescents. The main findings of the study are: 1. Girls are less satisfied with their overall appearance than that of boys. 2. Individual’s BMI is negatively correlated with overall appearance satisfaction and subjective evaluation of personal attraction. 3. The more the adolescents are influenced by stereotypical presentation of body image, the more they are satisfied and confident with their own body. 4. A positive correlation between academic performance and subjective evaluation of personal attraction are also found.
