Chinese Abstract

由於歷史事件資訊經長年累月累積的資料量非常龐大,現今人們通常是經由閱讀紙 本文字或網路零散的資訊來了解歷史事件,本研究擬以視覺化的方式呈現大量的歷史事 件資訊,提供使用者以更簡單、更直覺方式探索歷史事件資訊。 本研究嘗詴開發一套視覺化系統 TheSight,達到讓使用者只要透過系統提供資訊視 覺化服務即可完整取得或分享歷史事件資訊,實現 One-Stop 的概念;並整合網路上現 有組件企圖創造出新的價值;以及利用 HEML 文件進行與外部的資料交換。系統開發 以 VS.Net 為開發帄台,整合網路應用程序接口及開放源碼軟體加以修改客製化功能; 使用者介面設計上參照人機介面設計準則,讓使用者在使用系統服務時在付出最少的努 力下就可以發揮最大的效能,綜合上述完成線上資訊視覺化系統的開發。另外,現今 Web2.0 的時代,技術往往只是輔助的工具,真正擁有豐富資料才是關鍵,因此本研究 運用豐富的歷史資料,以歷史事件計算出人物與人物之間的關係,並視覺化演算結果, 繪製出人際關係網絡圖。 本研究屬適應式環境資訊系統(Adaptive Environment Information System,簡稱 AEIS),的模組之一,AEIS 是由包括環境資訊系統模組、歷史資訊系統模組以及資訊視 覺化系統模組三大模組所組成,環境資訊系統模組、歷史資訊系統模組主要任務為先從 網際網路上收集環境和歷史的相關資訊,該二模組針對網際網路上收集來的非結構化資 料做轉換、處理成結構化的資料後存入特別設計過資料庫架構(Database Schema)的資料 庫或是轉換成 HEML 檔案,最後由資訊視覺化系統模組向前端使用者做資訊視覺化的 呈現,而本研究現行主要目標為能夠成為儲存、交換以及視覺化呈現歷史事件資訊。

English Abstract

Due to historical event information is great quantity through accumulate year after year, if understand the historical events by reading text on paper or network fragmented information the efficiency is often poor, in this study, we expected to visualize a large number of historical events information, provide users with a more simple, more intuitive approach to understanding, to build the historical overview of information. In this study, we attempts to develop a visualization system called TheSight, let users browse and share information that all they need through using our of service of system, achieve concept of One-Stop, and integration of components of internet attempts to create new value; using HEML documents to exchange of information with the outside, and exchange information using the HEML document; visual studio.net as a development platform, integrated API and open source software; user interface design guidelines with reference to user interface design, allows users to use the system services in the efforts to pay at least be able to maximize the effectiveness, all above of describe to complete the online information visualization systems; in era of Web2.0, data is more valuable than technology, technology is only Supporting information; in this study we use wealth of historical data to drawing relationship network map.
