開放式創新個案研究與應用

摘要


企業研發經費快速增加,而且產品週期愈來愈短的競爭環境下,如果企業仍然採用封閉式的研發策略,將無法在未來的市場中生存。「開放式創新」強調外界具有很多的優秀人才,希望結合不同的專長和觀點,來產生創新的構想,加上網際網路的發達與使用的普遍性,「開放、分散與網絡化」的創新將是未來趨勢。 本研究以Google做為經營個案研究之對象,以開放式創新觀點探討其經營模式以及應用安索夫矩陣探討其產品策略。Google在網路搜尋市場上依靠強大的搜尋技術做核心,並以市場作為實驗室,縮短開發搜尋產品的時程,領先競爭對手;在作業系統、雲端運算與行動裝置系統平台上更有別於其主要競爭對手微軟與蘋果所主導的封閉式系統,採結合市場開發者與產業鏈,快速迎合市場需求。其中Google的成功策略在於:一、開發網路使用客群:二、積極尋求外部技術與合作;三、增加本業對於搜尋市場的區隔;四、強化能帶動獲利的廣告業務競爭力;五、重新切割新市場,塑造有利環境。本研究並以資源基礎理論與Ansoff產品市場成長矩陣為依據,分析Google在搜尋引擎、雲端運算平台、智慧型手機、作業系統、智慧型電視市場中如何運用開放式創新策略來與微軟、雅虎等競爭對手達到分庭抗禮的局面,最後本研究將根據google所塑造的經營環境,設計ㄧ開放式平台模式。

In today’s competitive environment, the enterprise is forced to spend more in research and development (R&D) and develop much shorter-life products. If enterprise still adopts close-minded research strategy on R&D, it can’t be eventually sustaining in the market. “Open Innovation” emphasizes on many experts and professionals from outside world bringing innovative ideas to the company by integrating different professional specialties and viewpoints. The innovation of “Open, dispersing and network” will be a trend in the future. Google is chosen as the case study of this research to discuss business model of open innovation. and to investigate its product strategy of Ansoff Matrix. Google’s core competency is strong searching techniques and skills. It regards market as a lab so as to shorten period of product searching to surpass competitors. It differs from close innovation that the main competitors such as Microsoft and Apple dominate in operating system, cloud computing and platform of mobile device. Google can cater the demand of market quickly by integrating market developers and industrial chains. One of Google’s successful strategies as follows: First, it develops group of Internet using. Second, it seeks out outside technique and cooperation. Third, it adds distinction of searching market. Forth, it stretches competitiveness of advertisement service that reaps profits effectively. Fifth, it segments new market once again to mold advantageous environment. And to Google further explain how to internalize outside resources into long-term core competency with open innovation in accordance with resource-based theory and Ansoff matrix. to analysis of Google in the search engines, cloud computing platform, Smart phone, operating system and smart television market. compete with Apple, Microsoft, and Yahoo on equal term. Finally, this research will be based on the bussness environment by google, design an open platform model.
