雲嘉地區國小教師多元文化教育素養、增能與實踐之相關研究 余明仁 國立中正大學教育學研究所 摘 要 本研究目的為:瞭解國小教師多元文化教育素養、增能與實踐之現況,探討教師不同背景在多元文化教育素養、增能與實踐的差異情形,並探討國小教師多元文化教育素養、多元文化教育增能對多元文化教育實踐之相關性與預測力。 根據研究目的,以「國小教師多元文化教育素養、增能與實踐調查問卷」為研究工具,以雲嘉地區之國民小學教師為研究對象,抽取760位教師進行問卷調查。以平均數及標準差瞭解現今國小教師之多元文化教育素養、增能與實踐的之現況。以t考驗、單因子變異數分析對不同背景變項的國小教師的多元文化教育素養、增能與實踐進行考驗;如達顯著水準則以Scheff′e進行事後處理。以皮爾遜積差相關考驗國小教師元文化教育素養、增能與實踐是否有顯著相關存在。以逐步多元迴歸探討多元文化教育素養、多元文化教育增能對多元文化教育實踐的預測力。 本研究主要結論為: 一、雲嘉地區的國小教師自覺擁有中高程度的多元文化教育素養,其中「多元文化技能」表現較佳。 二、雲嘉地區的國小教師在多元文化教育增能自覺擁有中低程度表現;其中「學位進修」表現優於「研習」和「教師自學」。 三、雲嘉地區的國小教師自覺擁有中高程度的多元文化教育實踐,其中「教學」表現優於「行政」。 四、國小教師的多元文化教育素養因最高學歷與學校地區而有不同,碩士、偏遠地區教師表現較佳。 五、國小教師因族群與學校地區其多元文化教育實踐而有不同,其中閩南人、客家人、城市教師表現較佳。 六、國小教師因最高學歷、擔任職務與學校地區其多元文化教育增能而有不同,其中碩士、科任教師、偏遠地區教師表現較佳。 七、國小教師的多元文化教育素養與增能皆與多元文化教育實踐有正相關且有預測力。 關鍵字:多元文化教育素養、多元文化教育增能、多元文化教育實踐
The Research of Competency, Empowerment And application Of Multicultural Education For Elementary School Teachers Form Yunlin and Chaiyi Ming-Jen Yu Graduate Institute of Education Nation Chung Cheng University Abstract The present study attempts to realize the competency, empowerment, as well as the application of multicultural education for elementary school teachers. Besides, the study also explores the differences of competency, empowerment, as well as the application of multicultural education for teachers from various backgrounds. Furthermore, the study also investigates the correlation and predictability among the competency, empowerment, as well as pedagogical application of multicultural education among elementary school teachers. According to the purpose of this study, the main data collection tool was based on “The Questionnaire about the Competency, Empowerment, as well as the Application of Multicultural Education for Elementary School Teachers”, and the 760 randomly selected subjects of the questionnaire are elementary school teachers from Yunlin and Chiayi. This study aimed to realize the competency, empowerment, as well as the application of multicultural education among elementary school teachers through the means of average and standard deviation method. T-test and One-way ANOVA analysis were applied to analyze the competency, empowerment, as well as the application of multicultural education for teachers from various backgrounds. Once the figure of the result in this study reached level of significance, Scheff′e was thus applied in the continuing process for further research in this study. The data was also analyzed through Pearson product moment correlation test to realize whether or not there was significant correlation among the competency, empowerment, as well as the application of multicultural education among elementary school teachers. Stepwise Multiple Regression analyses is used to explore the relationship and predictability among the competency, empowerment, as well as pedagogical application of multicultural education for elementary school teachers The following are the main findings of this study: 一、The elementary school teachers of Yunlin and Chiayi consider themselves having high-intermediate level of competence in terms of multicultural education, in which the multicultural skills outstands from the rest. 二、In the aspect of elementary school teachers empowering themselves of multicultural education, elementary school teachers consider themselves having low- intermediate level of performance, and the teachers performs better in terms of “acquiring academic degree” than “attending the seminar” and “self-study”. 三、The elementary school teachers of Yunlin and Chiayi consider themselves having high-intermediate level for application of multicultural education, and their performance of “teaching” is superior to the performance of “administration work”. 四、The competency of multicultural education of elementary school teachers varies according to the teacher’s highest academic degree, in which the masters, subject teachers represent better. 五、The application of multicultural education for elementary school teachers differs owing to various ethnic group and area of school, in which the Minnan group, Hakka group, and teachers from urban area perform better. 六、The empowerment of multicultural education for elementary school teachers differs based on various educational background, position of work, and area of school, in which the masters, subject teachers, and teachers from suburban area perform better. 七、There lies positive correlation and predictability among competency, empowerment, as well as the application of multicultural education for elementary school teachers.
