基金經理人教育背景與基金績效之關連

摘要

本文主要目的為探討基金經理人教育背景與基金績效之關連，以2013年基金經理人的基金績效為研究樣本，實證結果發現女性基金經理人操作的基金績效相較於男性基金經理人佳，曾接受外國教育的基金經理人操作的基金績效相較於接受國內教育的基金經理人佳，以教育程度區分則為僅接受大學教育的基金經理人操作的基金績效相較於碩士及博士教育的基金經理人整體表現佳，學習領域為其他科系的基金經理人操作的基金績效相較於學習領域為其他商管科系的基金經理人佳，產業別為擁有會計師事務所經驗的基金經理人操作的基金績效相較於擁有其他產業經驗的基金經理人更為穩健。

The paper tries to examine the relation between fund managers’ educational background and fund performance. Based on the samples of fund managers performance in 2013, we find that female fund managers performance is better than male fund manager. Fund managers who have foreign education performance is better than fund managers who have domestic education. Fund managers who have university degree performance is better than fund managers who have master and doctor degree. Fund managers who study other departments performance is better than fund managers who study business and management. Fund managers who ever worked in CPA firm performance is better than fund managers who worked in other industries, and their performance is more stable.
