A wearable health management device, such as Apple Watch, Sony’s SmartBand, and Xiomi’s Miband, has been introduced to help people track their daily activities and monitor their physical signals in order to improve their health management effectiveness. A wearable health management system usually includes a cellular phone, a wearable device, and an app software. Although these components are usually not very expensive and some of them are even free of charge, the systems are still not very popular and their functions are not fully utilized. Therefore, an investigation of the factors influencing the adoption intention of wearable health management system is important to promoting such systems. To investigate the factors influencing people’s intention of using wearable health management device, a questionnaire was developed and validated before uploaded to Google Forms to recruit respondents. 528 valid responses were collected and the data were then analyzed with structured equation modeling technique. The analyses revealed the followings. 1. Personal Task-Technology Fit had impacts on Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use. 2. Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Compatibility had impacts on Attitude. 3. Interpersonal Influence and External Influence had impacts on Subjective Norm. 4. Computer Self-efficacy and Complementary Resource Facilitating Conditions had impacts on Perceived Behavioral Control. 5. Attitude, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Behavioral Control had impacts on users’ Intention toward using wearable health management devices.
