產品設計現今所探討除了實用上之機能性,同時也必須具備其文 化特質,因此於文化產品的設計其重點即是在於文化的特性。本研究 從符號學的角度解析產品與文化的關聯性,並針對木質材料所作產品 之發展,並使用自然形態創造木質產品之形象。而從分析與運用結果 顯示: 1. 符號分析的角度必須從文化的物質、情境、精神層面探討該文化所 蘊含的內容。而從產品對應至文化可分別以產品的視覺特質、使用特 質、精神特質擷取設計元素以利發展產品。 2. 將文化與產品以符號分析的方式建構出表格有利於檢視各設計元素 是否能夠對應至文化層次與產品屬性,並且於設計後之產品也可有效 運用其表格檢視。 3. 運用仿生設計手法從自然界選擇卵石擷取適合發展於木質產品上之 設計元素,而應用的方式則透過實作了解其表面特質能透過造型、紋 飾、質感的操作發展產品形象,並建立產品之風格特色。

In this study resolved from the point of view of semantics and cultural relevance, and made in the development of products for wood materials, and use the natural form to create the image of wood products. From the analysis and use of the results show: 1. Symbolic analysis point of view must be from the substance of culture, context, spiritual level to explore the culture behind. From the product corresponding to the cultural to the visual qualities of the product, the use of qualities ethos capture design elements in order to facilitate the development of products. 2. The culture and product symbolic analysis to construct forms conducive View design elements corresponding to the cultural level of the product attributes, and in the design of products can also be an effective use of its Form View.3. Use of bionic design practices in to select the pebble capture design elements suitable for development in the wood products from nature, application, through the implementation of the understanding of their surface characteristics through shape, decoration, texture development product image, and the establishment of the product the style characteristics.
