應用績效評估矩陣方法探討學童學習成效

摘要


教育是百年大計,並且教育成效好壞是影響國家經濟發展因素之一,要培養好的產業人才,必然要有完善的培育科技人才搖籃,因此完善的基礎教育就顯得很重要。由於國小學童學習過程中,學習成效經常會因學童本身遇到有些學習困難或其他外在環境因素干擾而發生成效不佳的現象,因而產生教學策略執行效果不彰,造成國小學童學習的期望重視度與實際表現度產生差異。因此,為減少此差異,本研究利用六個標準差流程(DMAIC),並參考簡單易懂績效評估矩陣方法,試圖找出需要改善的國小學童學習成效要項,如此使國小教育盡可能避免或預防成效不良,所造成教育的成本浪費,又無法達到教學預期之成效。 本研究以中部鄉村型國小六年級為樣本來源,針對學童學習數學科目深入探討,利用上下管制線之績效評估矩陣,從17個題項中,檢視有7個異常題項需要改善,但教育資源有限可能無法全部進行改善,因此,從基本資料中對於需要改善題項認知較低的族群,擬定教學策略之改善方案,提供未來教育工作者之教學建議。

Education is a fundamental program crucial for generations to come. Also, the effectiveness of education is one of the main factors which influence the ecomomic development of the country. To cultivate excellent industrial human resources, it is necessary to build a wholesome educational system of technological human resources. Therefore, the primary education appears essential. During elementary school pupils’ learning process, the decreased learning effectiveness tends to happen because the pupils encounter certain learning obstacles or are disturbed by other external environmental factors. This causes some teaching strategies unable to be carried out effectively and the difference between the importance of elementary pupils’ learning and their actual performance. This study aims to find definite core items of elementary pupils’ learning effectiveness which need improving by using the six sigma process (DAMIC) and referring to performance evaluation matrix and contrrol limit. Therefore, this would avoid and prevent the ineffectiveness of the elementary education which results in the waste of education cost, the failure to meet the expected teaching effectiveness, and the negative effect on the educational competitiveness. This study makes an in-depth discussion based on the information of the learning effectiveness in the central rural Taiwanese elementary schools by taking mathematics in grade six as example. Through the upper and lower contrrol limit of performance evaluation matrix, there are 7 out 17 items needed improving. Nevertheless, the educational resources are so limited that all the 7 items could not be improved. Thus, after examining the pupils’ basic information, the participants who show lower satisfactory toward these items are slected out. On the basis of this group of pupils, this study draws up strategies for improving teaching and offering some references and suggestions for future educators.
