隨著社會經濟的發展,我國從農業社會發展到今日的工業社會,在都市化與國人生活型態的轉變,人們白天忙錄的生活之餘,對於夜晚的活動行為也越漸重視,藉由燈光照明的使用,增加了人們夜間活動的範圍及時間,因此光在夜間的都市街道立面更顯其重要性。 夜間的街道立面構成主要是由「光」來構成,而光是夜間立面訊息的來源。本研究探討日夜街道立面的差異性,並研究當今住商混合的都市街道立面現象。在商店櫛比鱗次的開設後,各個店家無不為了積極吸引過往行人的注目以及謀求廣告效用最大化,爭相在都市空間中樹立各式廣告看板或招牌。這些廣告看板或招牌也是夜間立面的光的來源所在,其目的在傳遞廣告訊息給路過的人車。本研究以不同於一般夜間街道立面的廣告訊息傳遞方式,而是以不同於現況的立面表達方式。以建築立面上光的充填與發散性質來傳達給行人,達成成功的訊息傳遞效果,使行人(消費者)與建築內部空間達成交流。
With development in society and economy, Taiwan has changed from agricultural to industrial society today. As urbanization increases and life style changes, people are attaching more importance to activity after busy life, in particular at night. Lighting has expanded people’s activity area and prolonged their available time at night. As a result, the importance of lights on street facade is more than ever underlined. The street facade in nighttime is mainly constructed of light - a source for messages from the facade at night. This study attempted to explore the difference between street facades in day and at night and the street facade phenomenon in cities of mixed use of residence and commerce. Stores open close together and aggressively attract passersby’s attention and seek maximization of their advertising effectiveness by vying to erect various billboards or signboards in the city. Also sources of light for facades in nighttime, these boards are designed to convey advertising messages to people and vehicles passing by. This study seeks to analyze how advertising messages on ordinary street facades are conveyed during nighttime, different from other current studies in the field. By means of focusing and projecting light on the building’s facade to successfully convey messages to passersby, an exchange takes place between passerby (consumer) and the space inside the building.
