近年來製造產業開始走向少量多樣化及大量客製化的生產模式,且現代生產製造技術隨著各種精密機構及設備的發展與應用不斷突破,使製造產業業者在生產線的建構與選擇更為多元化。但在人力成本提高、原物料上漲的經濟趨勢及生產成本降低、生產週期縮短…等壓力下,生產線已逐步朝著省時、省力及自動化的方向發展。因此,將模組化理論導入生產製造體系則是工業發展的一項技術革新,亦是一種能適應現今市場競爭力的生產模式,更是企業追求大量客製化時代下規模經濟的有力手段。 本研究以雙面車邊機夾具為例,將模組化理論及研究者相關實務經驗加以整合,從設計方法、夾具改良及個案實證等階段著手,設計出本設備專用之夾具。最後,並且進一步分析模組化夾具的經濟效益。 本研究發現模組化夾具的應用,在產業整體上,可提昇硬體設備共用性、實現高品質、低成本、短週期的效果,並能彈性應付市場需求的不確定性,增加市場競爭力。如果應用於生產製造體系之中,則能提昇現場技術人員及產品多樣化之快速應變能力,並且有利於生產排程與物流順暢。因此,模組化夾具的設計是達成少量多樣化及大量客製化、創造生產經濟效益的有效推手。
During the past few years, the trend of manufacturing industry moving rapidly towards mass customization which has the characteristics of diversified product categories. Along with manufacturing technology breakthrough which bring forth the development and application of precision mechanism and equipment, manufacturers has more choices on constructing their own production lines. However, under the pressure of higher labor and raw material costs, the production efforts request for time-saving, labor-saving and automation production lines. Hence, introducing the modular design theory into the manufacturing system is a technology innovation in the process of industry evolution. It will lead to a kind of production model which can adapt to the nowadays competitive market. And, without doubt, for most enterprises it’s a powerful method to pursuit a scale economy under the mass customization era. This research uses the fixture of a dual lathing machine as a case study by applying modular design theory and the researcher’s experience on design modular fixture for the machine. The research begins from the design technique, fixture improvement and empirically case study. Then, the economic efficiency of the modular fixture is discussed in detail. As a summary, this study has found that the application of modular fixture can provide the industries the advantages of sharing hardware, achieving higher quality, lowering production cost and shortening lead time, and most of all meeting the challenge resulting from market demand uncertainty and making the company more competitive. By applying the case study to a manufacturing line, technicians can advance their own production skills and adapt to the requirements of small production lot with diversified product categories rapidly. It’s also beneficial for scheduling production orders and smoothing logistics. Simply speaking, modular fixture design is an effective way to achieve the characteristics of small production lot and diversified product categories, and to improve the economic efficiency in the mass customization era.
