亞洲玉米螟的性費洛蒙配方,以(Z)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate :(E)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate =3:1的混合比例最佳,兼具高誘引力、經濟及容易配製的優點。國內過去利用玉米螟性費洛蒙主要做害蟲監測,大量誘殺法則因翼型誘蟲器成本較高且無法重複使用而不受青睞。本研究提供一種新型且經濟有效的性費洛蒙干擾技術,分別以微量的亞洲玉米螟性費洛蒙單一組成分(Z)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate與(E)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate裝填於塑膠微管,來抑制田間的雄蟲數量。試驗結果顯示,當干擾劑劑量為40mg∕1000m2時, (Z)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate的誘引抑制率為92%〜100%,(E)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate的誘引抑制率為96%〜100%。此一性費洛蒙干擾技術,可以減少殺蟲劑的使用量,值得進一步研究推廣。
(Z)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate :(E)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate =3:1 is the optimum formula for the synthetic sex pheromone of Ostrinia furnacalis, with the advantages of high attractiveness, low cost, and easy to manufacture. In Taiwan, the synthetic Ostrinia furnacalis sex pheromone has been mainly used for pest monitoring rather than mass trapping, since wing-type traps are costly and disposable. This research reports an economical and effective technique of disruption, using traces of either (Z)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate or (E)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate dispensed in polyethylene microtube to suppress the male in the corn field. Results showed the male suppression rates for (Z)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate and (E)-12-Tetradecenyl acetate are 92%〜100% and 96%〜100% at the dosage of 40mg∕1000m2, respectively. Further investigation and application in such technique is recommended in order to achieve pesticide-free pest control.
