臺中縣市國民小學參與教師專業發展評鑑教師工作壓力與專業承諾之研究

A Study of the Relationships between the Job Stress and Professional Commitment of the Elementary School Teachers Participating in the Professional Teacher Evaluation for the Target Schools in Taichung City and Taichung County

摘要


本研究旨在探究臺中縣市國民小學參與教師專業發展評鑑教師工作壓力與專業承諾現況、兩者的知覺差異情形與變項間的相關及預測力。本研究以調查研究法方式進行,研究工具為自編之「國民小學教師參與教師專業發展評鑑工作壓力與專業承諾量表」,研究對象以臺中縣市國民小學參與九十八學年度教師專業發展評鑑之教師為母群體,採分層比例立意抽樣方式進行。共計發出量表450份,回收有效量表359 份,回收可用率80% 。以描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數、Pearson 積差相關及多元迴歸來分析資料。根據主要研究發現歸納成結論如下: 一、臺中縣市國民小學參與教師專業發展評鑑教師有中等程度的工作壓力,其中以「工作負荷」所感受工作壓力程度最大。 二、臺中縣市國民小學參與教師專業發展評鑑教師專業承諾屬高程度的認同,其中以「專業成長」表現最佳。 三、臺中縣市國民小學參與教師專業發展評鑑教師工作壓力在「最高學歷」、「擔任職務」、「參與評鑑的經驗」三個背景變項上有顯著差異。 四、臺中縣市國民小學參與教師專業發展評鑑教師專業承諾在「性別」背景變項上有顯著差異。 五、參與教師專業發展評鑑教師之工作壓力與專業承諾無顯著相關。 六、參與教師專業發展評鑑教師之工作壓力對專業承諾無顯著的預測作用。 最後,依據研究結論提出具體建議,俾供教育行政機關、國民小學與教師,及未來研究之參考。

This study aimed to investigate the job stress and professional commitment among elementary school teachers in Taichung City and County who were involved in teacher professional development evaluation, differences in their perceptions of job stress and professional commitment, and correlations of job stress and professional commitment with related variables. This study conducted a survey using a self-developed questionnaire “Questionnaire on job stress and professional commitment of elementary school teachers involved in teacher professional development evaluation”. The subjects were selected from elementary school teachers in Taichung City and County who participated in teacher professional development evaluation during the academic year of 2009 using proportional stratified purposive sampling method. A total of 450 questionnaires were distributed, and 359 valid responses remained, resulting in a valid response rate of 80%. These responses were statistically analyzed on SPSS for Windows 12.0 using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression analysis. From research findings, the following conclusions were induced:(1)Elementary school teachers in Taichung City and County who were involved in teacher professional development evaluation felt an intermediate level of job stress, and the stress from “workload” was the strongest to them.(2)The teachers showed a high level of professional commitment, especially in the aspect of “professional growth”.(3)The teachers’ job stress significantly varied by three background variables, including “highest education”, “position”, and “experience of evaluation”.(4)The teachers’ professional commitment significantly differed between genders.(5)No significant correlation existed between job stress and professional commitment among the teachers.(6)The teachers’ job stress did not have a significant predicting power for their professional commitment. Finally, based on the above conclusions, some suggestions were proposed as a reference for administrations of education, elementary schools and teachers, and future researchers.
