臺中縣市國民小學學校志工擔任志工的動機與工作滿意之研究

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺中縣市國民小學學校志工擔任志工的動機與工作滿意,並分析不同個人背景變項志工在擔任志工的動機與工作滿意的差異情形,以及動機與工作滿意的相關。 本研究採問卷調查法,使用研究者自編的「臺中縣市國民小學學校志工擔任志工的動機與工作滿意之研究問卷」,總計發送問卷750份,實際回收之有效問卷711份,有效回收率94.8﹪。所蒐集的資料分別以描述性統計、t檢定、單因子變異數分析、積差相關等方法進行資料的分析。本研究結論如下: 1. 學校志工個人背景有同質且集中之現象。 2. 學校志工具有高度擔任志工的動機。 3. 學校志工具有高度擔任志工的工作滿意。 4. 學校志工擔任志工的動機在「自我成長增進知能」層面,每週服務4次以上的志工擔任志工的動機高於每週服務2次的志工;學校志工在性別、年齡、婚姻狀況、教育程度、職業、是否有子女就讀國小、服務年資等個人特質在擔任志工的動機上未達顯著差異。 5. 志工年齡51歲以上的志工工作滿意在「家庭與生活」層面高於31-40歲的志工;職業為退休人員的志工工作滿意在「家庭與生活」層面高於職業為家庭主婦的志工;每週服務4次以上的志工其工作滿意在「自我成長與發展」層面高於每週服務2次的志工;每週服務4次以上的志工其工作滿意在「人際關係」層面高於每週服務1次的志工;學校志工在性別、婚姻狀況、教育程度、是否有子女就讀國小、服務年資等個人特質在擔任志工的工作滿意上未達顯著差異。 6. 學校志工擔任志工的動機與工作滿意有高度正相關。

The purpose of study was to explore the relationships between participative motivation and work satisfaction of elementary school volunteers in great Taichung area. The questionnaire was used in the study. The instrument of measurement was a self-made questionnaire,” A Study of the Relationships between Participative Motivation and Work Satisfaction of Elementary School Volunteers in Great Taichung Area” The questionnaires were sent to 750 school volunteers. There were 711 effective respondents and the valid questionnaire rate was 94.8%.The data collected from the questionnaire are analyzed and the hypotheses are tested through descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, product-moment correlation. Results of this study are summarized as follows: 1. There was similar and centralized tendency in different population background school volunteers. 2. School volunteers commonly have strong motivations for participation 3. School volunteers show fairly high degrees of work satisfaction. 4. In “self-growth enhancing knowledge and ability”aspect, motivation for the school volunteers who serve for over 4 times per week is higher than those who serve 2 times per week. However, no significant difference is found in the volunteer''s motivation among the personal traits such as gender, age, marital status, educational background, occupation, whether children enroll in elementary school or not, and years of service. 5. In “family and life” aspect, volunteers who are over 51 years old have higher satisfaction than those who are over 31 and under 40 years old; and volunteers who are retired from their positions have higher satisfaction than those who are housewives. In “self-growth and self-development” aspect, volunteers who serve for over 4 times per week have higher satisfaction than those who serve 2 times per week. In “human relationship” aspect, volunteers who serve for over 4 times per week have higher satisfaction than those who serve one time per week. However, no significant difference is found in the volunteer''s satisfaction among the personal traits such as gender, marital status, educational background, whether children enroll in elementary school or not, and years of service. 6. A close correlation was found between school volunteers’ motivations for participation and the degree of work satisfaction
