台中市國民小學體育教師專業素養與教學效能之相關研究

A Study of the Relationships between Teacher Professionalism and Teaching Effectiveness for Physical Education Teachers in Elementary Schools in Taichung City

摘要


本研究主要目的在探討台中市國民小學體育教師專業素養與教學效能之相關,瞭解國小體育教師的專業素養與教學效能現況,並分析不同背景變項的教師專業素養與教學效能之差異情形。 本研究以2009年任教於台中市各公立國民小學之合格體育教師為研究對象。以研究者自編之「台中市國民小學體育教師專業素養與教學效能調查問卷」為研究工具,以立意抽樣方法進行問卷調查。問卷共計發出420份,回收有效問卷345份,問卷可用率達82.1%。調查所得資料以SPSS 12.0版統計套裝軟體進行描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關等統計方法進行資料結果與分析。 本研究主要結論如下: 一、台中市國民小學體育教師專業素養的整體現況屬於「中上程度」。其中以「專業態度」最高,「專業成長」最低。 二、不同背景變項之台中市國民小學體育教師在專業素養整體及各層面上之差異,在性別、年齡、兼任職務、畢業科系、體育任教年資、運動代表隊指導、研習進修次數達顯著,在學校規模未達顯著。 三、台中市國民小學體育教師教學效能的整體現況屬於「高程度」。其中以「班級經營」最高,「教學計畫」最低。 四、不同背景變項之台中市國民小學體育教師在教學效能整體及各層面上之差異,在性別、兼任職務、畢業科系、擔任運動代表隊指導和體育相關研習次數達顯著,在年齡、體育任教年資和學校規模未達顯著。 五、台中市體育教師專業素養與教學效能之間有顯著正相關。 最後根據研究結果與發現提出具體建議,以供教育主管機關、國小體育教師及未來研究者之參考。

The purposes of this study are to explore the relationships between professionalism and teaching effectiveness for physical education teachers in Taichung City, to understand the current practice, and to analyze the differences between teacher professionalism and teaching effectiveness by different variables. The participants are randomly selected from the public physical education teachers in elementary schools in 2009 year. Self-made “Questionnaire of Professionalism and Teaching Effectiveness for Physical Education Teachers in Taichung City” is used to collect data in the study. 420 questionnaires were sent out and 345 questionnaires returned. 82.1% of them were valid. The data were analyzed through the uses of SPSS 12.0 system, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation. The results of the study are listed as follows: 1. The current professionalism of physical education teachers in Taichung City reaches the “middle” to “high” level. The professionalism ranks the highest; and the professional growth, the lowest. 2. Significant differences are found among variables by gender, age, position, educational background, years of service in PE, coaches of athletics teams, and times for in-service education, but the variable by size of school is not significant. 3. The teaching effectiveness of physical education teachers in Taichung City reaches the “high” level. Among these variables, classroom management is ranks the highest, and the teaching planning, the lowest. 4. Significant differences are found among the variables by gender, position, educational background, years of service in PE, coaches of athletics teams, and times for in-service education, but not significant among the variables by age, years of service in physical education, and size of school. 5. Positive relationships exist between professionalism and teaching effectiveness for physical education teachers in Taichung City. Finally, based on the result of the study, suggestions are made for educational authorities and physical education teachers and the researchers to improve physical education in the future
