Use and non-use of positive feedback (applause) were compared to investigate the effect of applause on success (curativeness) in group psychotherapy and staffs' presentation of keyword. As a result, applause has appeared to be useful for promoting the success in group psychotherapy, and influencing the staffs' presentation of the categorization (keyword).
