機車消音器內襯吸音棉消音性能的影響評估

Acoustical Performances of Absorptive Materials in Motorcycle Muffler

摘要


機車消音器的用途,是在不影響機車排氣的前提下,用來消除機車引擎運轉過程所產生的排氣噪音。其內部設計通常非常複雜,才能在小體積的先天限制下,達到非常良好的消音效果。目前大部份的設計中,機車消音器內部結構通常由許多膨脹室、支管、觸媒、網鈑及吸音棉等元件所組成,而各元件在消音效果上,亦各有不同的貢獻。本文即應用「音響阻抗管正向入射吸音率」及「消音器傳輸損失」等量測技術,針對某一型機車消音器內襯吸音棉的消音性能,作有系統的實際量測及影響評估,來探討吸音棉在機車消音器消音性能上的影響及貢獻。

The motorcycle mufflers are designed to reduce the exhaust noise from running engine, without affecting normal exhaust. The internal structures in most motorcycle mufflers are very complicated to get a better acoustical performance in a limited space. In most designs, the internal structures include a lot of components, such as expansion chambers, branch tubes, catalyze, perforated plates, and absorptive materials. Each component has their own contribution to the total acoustical performance of motorcycle muffler. This paper is based ”Normal Incidence Absorption Coefficient Measurements” and ”Muffler Transmission Loss Measurements” methods to evaluate the acoustical performance of absorption materials in motorcycle muffler.
