近年來,由於多媒體科技的快速發展,能使“虛擬實現”(VR)的技術有突破性的發展。而頭部頻率轉移函數(HRTF)乃是描述自由聲場下,聲音傳遞至人耳耳這的轉移函數,因此頭部頻率轉移函數是達成聽覺虛擬實現最重要的關鍵。本研究籍由人工頭顱量測系統量取了整個空間中756個不同位置之頭部頻率轉移函數與頭部脈衝響應函數(HRIR)。以了解人耳如何感覺聲場及判斷聲音的方向。並利用它來實境三維聲場之模擬,進而建立國人對聲場虛擬實境模擬的能力。本研究所量得的HRTF為國內第一組資料庫在世界上也是少數之一。
