美體社會學談什麼？

摘要

對於身體，你的第一個想法是什麼？對於自己的身體，你的第一個感受又是什麼？答案可能很多元。
然而，不論你的答案是什麼，我們對於自己如何看待自己的身體、或別人如何評價我們的身體，都受到社會文化、時尚潮流和大眾傳播的影響，因此人們的身體不能脫離社會脈絡而存在，而這正是美體社會學所要看見的；因此，美體社會學所談的乃是身體經驗、身體意象與身體政治。

When you thinking about the issue of body, what is your first idea? Regarding your own body, what your first feeling also is? The answer possibly has very much.
However, no matter what is your answer, how we thinking about the body of my own, or how the others appraise our body, all influence by the social culture, the fashion tidal current and the mass media dissemination. Therefore people's body cannot be separated from the social context to exist, this is precisely the body sociology must see. Therefore, the class of body sociology discussed is the body experience, the body image and body politics
