運用「資料庫知識發現KDD支援DIKW知識管理模式」對COVID-19下之出版業銷售額進行大數據分析

Using the KDD and DIKW Model to Explore the Impact of COVID-19 on Publishing Industry Revenue

摘要


一、研究目的:新冠病毒來襲,國內管制嚴格,雖然不似國外經濟之慘狀,但是,我們還是很關心過去這一年,全球新冠病毒大流行對產業的影響。基於對出版產業的關注,本專題研究從大數據分析的角度探討COVID-19疫情與出版產業銷售額的關係。二、研究方法:本研究運用資料倉儲知識發現技術(Knowledge Discovery in Data Warehouses, KDD),整合「KDD資料探勘的技術」與「DIKW知識管理金字塔」成為出版業KDD+DIKW知識管理模式,以「財政統計資料庫查詢」進行出版業銷售額之「銷售額資料倉儲知識發現(Revenue Knowledge Discovery in Data Warehouses, RKDD)」,將2018年至2020年的出版業銷售額並列比較,並以集群分析探討出版業銷售額的樣態。三、研究結果:(一)COVID-19新冠病毒大流行確實影響我國出版產業的營收。(二)COVID-19新冠病毒大流行下,我國數位出版五種子類有所突破。(三)九類出版類型於低、中、高營收表現確實具有顯著性差異。本研究結果可作為政府、出版產業和相關單位決策之參考。

Purpose of Study: COVID-19 coronavirus is changing the world. Although it does not look like the tragic situation of foreign economies in Taiwan, we are still very concerned about the impact of the global COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic on our industry in the past year. This project studies the revenues of the publishing industry from the viewpoint of big data analysis in Taiwan. Methodology: This research adopted "KDD + DIKW Knowledge Management Model (Hsu & Ho, 2018) to carry out "Revenue Knowledge Discovery in Data warehouses " The statistical databases of the Ministry of Finance of Republic of China from which were used in extracting useful knowledge hidden publishing revenues can be a reference of decision-making for Taiwan's publishing industries. Findings/Conclusions: The results of the study are three as follows: 1) The COVID-19 pandemic has indeed affected the revenues of Taiwan's publishing industries. 2) Under the COVID-19 pandemic, the revenues of five digital publishing sub-categories has increased significantly in Taiwan. 3) The revenues performance of the nine sub-categories publishing industries in low, middle and high revenues are significantly different. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the decision-making of the government, publishing industry and related institutions.
