The success of white-light LEDs will be greatly dependent on two essential specifications. One is the illuminating efficiency, and the other is the color rendition. In this article, the optimal performance of the higher illuminating efficiency and the better color rendition both is discussed according to the principle of the color mixing for white-light LEDs.
