台中航空站聯外運具旅運需求之研究

A Study on Travel Demand of Taichung Airport Ground Access Modes

摘要


本研究主要在探討旅客對於台中航空站聯外運具之相關需求及偏好程度,研究中針對旅客搭機及聯外運具使用情形進行相關之旅次特性分析,同時運用「次序羅吉特模式」探討聯外運具選擇之相關影響因素,模式中就「省時」、「使用方便」、「價格合理」、「不需轉車」、「準時抵達」及「攜帶行李方便」等六項旅客最重視之影響因素進行校估。由於台中捷運尚未完工通車,本研究以「敘述性偏好法」之假設情境的方式,詢問旅客對於捷運通車後的選擇偏好,其中「使用方便」、「省時」、「價格合理」、「班次密集」及「不需轉車」為影響旅客選擇捷運系統之較重視的服務屬性;本研究並針對不同的旅行距離下,旅客前往台中航空站搭機時之不同聯外運具的旅行時間與成本進行估算,詢問旅客在「捷運與小汽車」、「捷運與公車」、「捷運與公路客運」、「捷運與計程車」等不同組合之選擇行為,研究結果顯示,旅客對於捷運系統具有高度之偏好。

This study is to investigate passengers' needs and preferences of Taichung Airport ground access modes. The information of the trip characteristics relative to the flights and ground transportation was collected and analyzed. The factors influencing the choices of ground access modes, including ”time-saving”, ”convenience”, ”reasonable price”, ”no transfer”, ”punctuality”, and ”easy for luggage carriage”, were examined using the ordered logit model. Because the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system of Taichung is still under construction, this study used the stated preference method to examine the possible changes in mode choices if the MRT system begins to operate. It reveales that ”convenience”, ”time-saving”, ”reasonable price”, ”short headway”, and ”no transfer” are the main factors influencing passengers' choices of MRT. According to the estimated travel times and costs in different travel distances, this study also investigated passengers' intentions in mode choices among ”MRT and car”, ”MRT and city bus”, ”MRT and highway coach”, and ”MRT and taxi”. It indicates that passengers are with high intentions in choosing MRT.
