「位置感知」服務是目前在無線射頻識別(Radio Frequency Identification, RFID)系統的領域中最受人注目的應用,但是RFID有偵測範圍的限制,所以多應用在室內的位置感知。目前在室外監控物件主要是透過全球衛星定位系統(Global Position System, GPS)來達成位置感知的服務,可是卻需要與電信業者合作才能享有其服務,這讓我們思考是否能利用越來越密集的無線網路來傳輸物件位置。 本研究藉由配帶在物件身上RFID標籤晶片(Tag),藉由或具RFID Reader的PDA,辨識裝置於物件上的主動式RFID標籤晶片(Tag)紀錄的物件識別資料和GPS接收器的經緯度資料,以本系統開發的PDA應用程式擷取結合,並以Wi-Fi無線方式連結到後端地理資訊系統進行明確位置之分析,系統自動判讀物件是否異常,例如不在監控區域內或者與系統失去連結。期望能利用本研究的系統,以低成本的方式發展物件位置感知的服務,例如失智老人所在的位址。
The ”Location-Awareness” service has been one of the focal applications of Radio Frequency Identification system. However, due to the restriction in the range of detection of RFID, as a consequence it is mostly applied to indoor location-awareness. Presently, the outdoor monitor mostly uses the Global Position System (GPS) to achieve the service of location-awareness, but it is necessary to cooperate with telecommunication companies to provide this kind of service. Because of this restriction, it let me to think to transfer the object's location through the use of the dense coverage of wireless network. This thesis research takes the PDA RFID Reader wore/attached on the object, the PDA application which it is developed will combine the object data of active RFID Tag and the coordinate data of GPS receiver. Afterward, the PDA will transfer the combining data over a Wi-Fi network to the GIS in the server for the subsequent analysis. We hope that we can develop the service of location-awareness for the object in lower cost, for instance locating the elder with dementia.
