國中生初次異性交往之相關因素

Factors Related to the First Relation with Heterosexual among Junior High Students

摘要


為瞭解個人、家庭及學校因素與國中生初次異性交往行為之關係,本研究使用兒童及青少年行為之長期發展計畫(簡稱CABLE計畫)資料庫中2004年(研究樣本就讀七年級)及2005年(研究樣本就讀八年級)之部份資料進行次級資料分析,有效樣本計1,634人。 結果發現,2004年從未有過異性交往經驗的研究樣本,於2005年開始與一位固定對象交往之比率為7.65%,其中男生發生初次異性交往行為之比率為5.58%;女生發生初次異性交往行為之比率為9.86%;女生發生初次異性交往行為之比率顯著高於男生。依據邏輯斯迴歸模式分析結果,男生與好友互動程度較好,發生初次異性交往行為之可能性愈高;與女生發生初次異性交往行為有關之因素包括居住於新竹縣、發育至月經已來、自覺外表愈滿意、父親教育程度為高中職及以下、好友有異性交往行為及與好友互動程度較好。好友互動程度為男生及女生發生初次異性交往行為之共同因素。依據研究結果,建議父母應多關心女生在青春期時的發育情況,以積極正向的態度教導她們學習與異性相處。另外,在學校性教育課程實施方面,除了傳授性知識之外,教導青少年學習與異性相處,建立良好的人際關係,培養尊重異性的態度,亦為實施性教育的重要層面。

The aim of this study was to realize personal, familial, and school factors associated with first relation with heterosexual among junior high school students. Data of this study were adopted from the survey of “Child and Adolescent Behavior in Long-term Evolution (known as CABLE)” to conduct secondary data analysis. There were 1,634 students who finished the topic of heterosexual relationship in questionnaires both in 2004 (the seventh grade) and 2005 (the eighth grade). It was shown that 7.65% of students who had no experience of having heterosexual relationship in 2004 started to date with heterosexual in 2005. Further, the rate of first relation with a girlfriend and first relation with a boyfriend were 5.58% and 9.86%, respectively. Girls’ rate of first heterosexual relationship was significantly higher than boys’. Results from the logistic regression analysis revealed that a higher degree of interaction with close friends was associated with a higher tendency for boys to have first relation with heterosexual. Factors associated with a higher tendency for girls to have first relation with heterosexual included “living in Hsin-Chu Country”, “having the experience of menarche”, “a higher degree of satisfaction with physical appearance ”, “paternal education level under senior high school or vocational high school”, “close friends having dating behaviors”, and “a higher degree of interaction with close friends”. The level of interaction with close friends is a mutual factor associated with boys’ and girls’ first relation with heterosexual. According to the findings, there are some recommendations. First, parents should be more concerned with girls’ pubertal development and have positive attitude to give them guidance about making friends with heterosexual. Furthermore, in addition to provide correct sexual knowledge, the contents of school sex education should include the knowledge of how to get along with heterosexual and the attitude to respect the opposite sex.
