Recent generations believe in post-truth politics and hold it as their political views. Like the 2016 American president election and the seperation of British from the Europen Union, internet discussions and news become a important resource for people to reflect and to engage in political informations. However, a lot of these informations and news are false or fake. “The truth” and “objective” are no longer the criteria to obtain information. On the other hand, persuasive response and lies come with emotional political views. The same happened in Taiwan. Age, political belief, occupation, education, household income, and involvement in internet discussion affect how people hold their political views. If there is no change to post-truth politics, there will be harm to Taiwan politic public. Once political trust decrease, the society will deform.
