摘要

當現代都會空間朝向商業化與支持社會變動的多元發展現象，其具備變異性所產生的特色差異是後現代論述所關注的。後現代城市文化的拼貼現象，受全球化文化與經濟層面所影響，如今城市生活進入媒體操弄、消費性及多元化的時代；具體化為俱樂部、時裝店與購物中心等空間形式，形成一種含混交融合的集體經驗。而亞洲主要城市大都是處在急速現代化的發展，城市型態使用與再現的過程中，城市空間融合產生了許多後現代社會文化現象，浮現亞洲巨型城市的特殊經驗。

本篇論文以信義計畫區為對象，討論台北城市過程中，經由政府決策、社會文化以及市場機制影響下，從市政副都市中心轉變到休閒化城市中心，並且在都市機能建構與象徵元素轉變的條件下，歸納、拼貼出不同的都市空間表徵。在「全球化」作用下所經歷二十五年的發展成型，台北是呈現何種都市空間經驗？當都市成為研究議題的同時，城市有自身的發展歷史與迫切需要關注的問題，亦可作為一個相互對立的研究領域和方法。於此則是著重於「開放空間」的相關議題研究，期許對於往後都市建築空間的規劃設計有所助益。

當城市朝向消費性、全球化的市場建構同時，城市的中心機能與需求也都不斷的在變動，空間在面對人們使用及需求的要求下都將浮現地域問題的回應與空間形構，不論是大範圍從城市區域規劃起，再到內部建築與街道空間的活動呈現。而後現代地理景觀是在促成新形式的產生，這是一種新與舊的融合，在混雜中求取認同的形構。其實在台北城市的都會面貌下，早有個潛藏的在地生活認同，早已蘊育在我們的社會中，而信義計畫區所擁有的機能建構與產生多元的社會現象，逐漸已成為一個具備在地認同並且能被指認的新城市空間。

When the space of modern cities heads toward the multiple development of commercialization and social reform supported. The divergences caused by the variability among these functions draws a lot of attention of the postmodern discussion. The collage phenomenon of postmodern urban culture was effected by the influence of culture and economics aspects. Life in the city now is moving into a media-manipulated, consumerized and diversified era, which manifests the space as clubs, fashion stores, and shopping malls, then becomes a collective experience of blend. Nevertheless, most of the main cities in Asia are now under the rapid modernization process. During the practice and representation of the urban model, the blend of urban spaces results in lots of remarkable phenomenon of postmodern society culture, reveals the specific experience of Asian mega city.

This thesis takes the Hsin Yi district as the object, discusses in the process of the Taipei urban development, how it transformed from the municipal secondary city center to the leisure city center through the influence of government decision-making, the social culture, and the market mechanism. And under the condition of construction of urban function and emblematic elements transforming, Hsin Yi district induces, maps the various characteristic of urban spaces. Taking shape under the “globalization" effect for 25 years, Taipei presents what kind of metropolis space experience? In the meantime of the metropolis becoming the research subject, the city itself has its own development history and urgent demand of concern, also may be taken as the domain and method to research. This thesis emphasizes the research and discussion of open-spaces-related subjects. Hopefully it will be helpful to the scheme and design of the space of urban construction in the future.

When the city develops toward the commercialized and globalized market-led construction, meanwhile, the central function and demand of the city are changing as well. And from the large-scale aspect like the layout of urban area, to the details like appearance of interior and street space, the space will definitely reveal The response of regional problem and space mechanism when facing the requirements from users. The postmodern-geographical landscape is facilitating the forming of new style, which is the blend of fashion and tradition, a composition of the identification from different tunes. In fact, under the metropolis appearance of Taipei city, there is already a regional identification existing in the society. The function-led construction and diversified social phenomenon owned by Hsin Yi district, is gradually becoming a recognizable new city space which possess regional identification.
