臺北市國民中學教師專業成長與班級經營效能關係之研究

AStudy of Correlation between Teachers' Professional Growth and Classroom Management Efficiency in Junior High Schools in Taipei City

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺北市國民中學教師專業成長及班級經營效能之關係。本研究主要目的有: 一、暸解臺北市國民中學教師專業成長之現況。 二、暸解臺北市國民中學教師班級經營效能之現況。 三、分析不同背景變項臺北市國民中學教師專業成長之差異情形。 四、分析不同背景變項臺北市國民中學教師班級經營效能之差異情形。 五、探討臺北市國民中學教師專業成長與班級經營效能的相關情形。 六、探討臺北市國民中學教師專業成長對班級經營效能之預測力。 七、綜合研究結果及發現,提出具體建議供教育行政機關及教育人員作為促進教師專業成長與提升班級經營效能的參考。 本研究參考整理相關文獻,發展研究架構,採問卷調查法之量化研究,使用研究者自編之「臺北市國民中學教師專業成長與班級經營效能關係之研究調查問卷」為研究工具,以2015學年度臺北市公私立國民中學教師為母群體,採分層隨機抽樣方式發出正式問卷共590份,回收有效樣本502份,有效問卷回收率85.08%。 經問卷調查所得之有效樣本透過描述性統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關分析及多元迴歸分析等統計方法進行統計分析,研究歸納發現獲得結論如下: 一、臺北市國民中學教師專業成長知覺為中高程度,整體現況良好,以「課程設計與教學」知覺程度最佳,「班級經營與輔導」知覺程度最低。 二、臺北市國民中學教師班級經營效能知覺為中高程度,整體現況良好,以「學生行為輔導」知覺程度最佳,「班級環境經營」知覺程度最低。 三、不同背景變項臺北市國民中學教師專業成長之差異情形,在性別、現任職務、學校屬性、學校規模整體層面有顯著差異;以男性、兼任行政教師、私立完全中學、班級數24班以下之教師對專業成長的知覺程度高。 四、不同背景變項臺北市國民中學教師班級經營效能之差異情形,在性別、現任職務、學校屬性、學校規模整體層面有顯著差異;以男性、兼任行政教師、私立完全中學、班級數24班以下之教師對班級經營效能的知覺程度高。 五、在個別層面,部分不同背景變項間在教師專業成長及班級經營效能間分別具顯著差異。 六、臺北市國民中學教師專業成長與班級經營效能呈現正相關;意即臺北市國民中學教師專業成長情形愈好,班級經營效能愈高。 七、臺北市國民中學教師專業成長能有效解釋班級經營效能,以「研究發展與進修」最具預測力。

This study mainly aims, via adopting the methods of questionnaire survey and literature review, to explore the correlation between teachers' professional growth and classroom management efficiency in junior high schools in Taipei City. The main purposes of this study are: 1. To understand the situation of teachers' professional growth in junior high schools in Taipei City. 2. To understand the situation of teachers' classroom management efficiency in junior high schools in Taipei City. 3. To analyzethe differences of professional growth among teachers with different backgrounds. 4. To analyze the differences of classroom management efficiency among teachers with different backgrounds. 5. To explore the correlation between teachers' professional growth and classroom management efficiency in junior high schools in Taipei City. 6. To explore the predictive power of teachers' professional growth and classroom management efficiencyin junior high schools in Taipei City. 7. To propose suggestions, based upon the research findings of this study, useful for the reform of related educational policies in the future. The questionnaire was constructed by the researcher titled "The Research of Correlation between Junior High School Teachers' Professional Growth and Classroom Management Efficiency ". The questionnaire survey was conducted through the stratified random sampling method, in total, 590 qualified teachers of public and private junior high schools in Taipei City were chosen as the samples of the survey, 502 valid questionnaires (about 85.08% response rate) were analyzed.The data from questionnaires were analyzed by statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-moment correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression. The conclusions of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. The professional growth felt by teachers in junior high schools in Taipei City is above the average, while the highest is the dimension of "curriculum design and teaching" and the lowest is "classroom management and counseling". 2. The classroom management efficiency felt by teachers in junior high schools in Taipei City is above the average, while the highest is the dimension of "students' behavior counseling " and the lowest is " classroom environmental management ". 3.From the dimension as a whole, the professional growth of teachers differs significantly, in terms of their gender, current position, school property and school size.Teachers who are male, administrative position, belong to small size and private complete high school are conscious of teachers’ professional growth at high level. 4.From the dimension as a whole, the classroom management efficiency of teachers differs significantly, in terms of their gender, current position, school property and school size.Teachers who are male, administrative position, belong to small size and private complete high school are conscious of teachers’ classroom management efficiency at high level. 5. In some individual indicators or items, significant differences are found in the professional growth and classroom management efficiency of teachers respectively. 6. There is a positive correlation between professional growth and classroom management efficiency;the better situation of the professional growth, the higher level of teachers’ classroom management efficiencyin junior high schools inTaipei City. 7. Junior high school teachers' professional growth can make good predictions for classroom management efficiency and the most predictive dimension is "research and development ".
