茶子萃取物 (Camellia sinensis) 富含多酚類、皂苷類,以可促進體內脂肪酸氧化,減少消化道的吸收作用而受到注目。本實驗以雄性 Wistar 大鼠,經一週適應期後分成控制組 (C組)、高脂飲食 (F組)、及高脂飲食補充不同劑量茶子萃取物的兩組 (L組, H組),每組各10隻。每週測量其體重變化及攝食狀況,經八週的飲食介入後予以犧牲。本研究結果發現:茶子萃取物介入可顯著降低高脂飲食造成腹部脂肪、相對脂肪重及體重增加的情形 (p < 0.05),同時可以顯著降低高脂飲食造成血漿游離脂肪酸濃度增加的情形 (p < 0.05)。由脂肪細胞激素的分析結果:給予茶子萃取物的攝取後,相較於高脂飲食組,可降低血漿Leptin濃度 (p < 0.05)。綜合以上結果得知:高脂飲食動物模式中,給予茶子萃取物介入,可能經由改善血漿游離脂肪酸濃度、調節體內脂肪細胞激素Leptin的表現,減少副睪、後背脂肪和相對總脂肪的堆積情況,達到減輕高脂飲食所誘發的肥胖及體脂肪蓄積的目的。
Tea fruit extract (Camellia sinensis) enriched polyphenols and saponins, has been known to increase ??-oxidation and affect gastrointestinal digestion. In this study, 40 Wistar rats were divided into the control group (AIN-93M diet, high fat diet (modified from AIN-93M containing 57.7% calories from oil), L group (high fat diet with 10.3 g/kg tea fruit extract) and H group (high fat diet with 20.6 g/kg tea fruit extract). The rats were weighted weekly and sacrificed after 8 weeks of experiment. Results showed that diets containing tea fruit extract could significantly reducing in body weight, adipose tissue weight (p < 0.05). Supplement with tea fruit extract led to significantly decrease plasma free fatty acids concentrations (p < 0.05). Besides, there were significantly decrease plasma leptin levels (p < 0.05). Therefore, we concluded that tea fruit extract can improve adipokines expression and prevent fat accumulation of adipose tissue.
