解嚴後十年(1987-1997)女作家的都市書寫--以朱天文、朱天心、成英姝為例

摘要

1987年台灣社會解除戒嚴，結束長達三十八年一元體制禁錮，黨禁、報禁、大陸探親合法化以及強人領導的消解，使得長久處在保守壓抑狀態的台灣社會活力爆發出來，對臺灣的文化、政治、經濟、社會等各個層面皆造成重大的影響。解嚴是台灣跨入晚期資本主義的關鍵時刻，同時也加速了都市化進程。
在此特殊時空下，朱天文、朱天心與成英姝不約而同地將書寫場景關注到都會，透過女性獨特的視角，運用各種不同的敘事手法，寫出她們對都會生活的體悟。本論文以「文學社會學」做為研究切入的角度，將女作家的都市書寫分為「政治生活」、「消費生活」以及「精神文化生活」 三個面向討論，探討都市書寫與時代環境的互動關係、都市書寫所呈現的都市生活、以及都市書寫的深刻內涵。
全文共分六章：第一章緒論，說明論文研究動機、研究方法與研究架構，並對前人研究成果作一總覽回顧。第二章都市小說概述，先釐清都市書寫的概念，再爬梳台灣都市文學發展過程，最後歸納都市小說的特質。第三章女性敏銳的政治觀察，對照解嚴後的政治亂象，探討三位女作家在都市書寫中所呈現的觀察與回應。第四章消費生活的憂心批判，與當時的消費社會現況相互對應，歸結出作家們對物慾橫流的消費生活所做的種種批判。第五章族群文化的深刻發掘，參照各種意識型態交鋒的環境，分析三位女作家如何考察隱伏於都市中不同「類」的人群。第六章結論，主要是將各章內容進行歸納與總結，針對這三位女作家的都市書寫，提出筆者的意見。

By uplifting Martial Law in 1987 in Taiwan, which has lasted 38 years, a new era has since been marked with various openness in regards of politics and freedom of speech. Mutual visiting with China was legalized and the breakdown of domineering political atmosphere accelerated the evolution of Taiwan in terms of culture, politics, economics and social structure. 1987 is a landmark and turning point in Taiwanese history.
Writer Tien-Wen Chu, Tien-Hsin Chu and Ing- Shu Chen documented such vibrant society, especially the urban life, with the touch of their feminine spectacle. Through the concept of literature sociology, this thesis is to look at urban writing from female writers’ literature works. Three dimensions will be covered as followed, the political life, the consuming life, the spiritual and cultural life. This is to uncover the interaction between urban writing and contemporary social environment.
There are six chapters in the thesis. Chapter one states research object, methodology and framework and literature review. Chapter two clarifies the genre and characteristics of Urban Writing from other form of literature. Evolution of Taiwanese urban writing is included here. Chapter three presents female writers observing and interaction under the framework of vibrant society, which just walked out of the closed curtain of tight political control to a new free country. Chapter four is a critique of modern consuming oriented society and how it affects interpersonal relationship. Social conflicts of different ideologies and ethnic backgrounds are the main focus of Chapter five. Finally the conclusion is presented in Chapter six.
