影響藝術設計領域大學生想像運行的環境與心理因素的案例探討

摘要


隨著設計產業的帶動和進步,年輕的設計師每位都要擁有獨特的想法才能應映瞬息萬變的設計內容,而想像力更是他們不可或缺的才能之一,從藝術繪畫、文字創作和學習過程當中都可以看見想像力的運用,所以促發想像力就是現今教育在課程設計上的趨勢。本研究以藝術設計領域的大學生作為研究對象,並以學習環境與心理兩項因素作為切入點,探索對大學生促發想像力的環境與心理影響因素。本研究期許透過對想像力,及促發想像力相關影響因素的探討,能提供學習者一些靈感的激發,另對藝術教育的學習,提供後續研究參考。 本研究採用質性研究的深度訪談法以及紮根理論做分析,探討以學習環境與心理因素對於促發想像的關係,並採納 Potter (2002) 針對藝術設計領域學生面對設計作業時的設計思考和創作風格傾向,將研究對象的異同特質進行分類。本研究運用紮根理論分析後的結果發現,兩項學習因素都會對促發想像形成影響,而環境因素是最直接的,也會影響到設計本身,然而學習心理所影響的部分都是深層的感受且間接的,有些也受環境因素所牽引。除此之外,本研究將受訪者分類後發現「自由派」,是專業設計師對學習者引導的過程中,較樂意看到的創作風格,因為他們極富彈性且高自由度的創作傾向,都是在設計中所需要的元素。本研究總結呼籲在創作時,若一時找不到合適的想法,不妨先從了解自身出發,選擇自己喜好的創作空間,這樣不僅有益於促發想像,亦較容易找出設計上的個人風格,進而順利完成作品。

Within the progress of design industry, every young adult designer needs their unique idea to cope with rapid substantial change of design content, thus, imagination is definitely one of their indispensable abilities. We can find out imagination is utilized in many fields like painting, literature, and learning etc, so stimulating imagination becomes the trend of course design in education. The participants of this study are students in the field of art and design, and explore how environmental and psychological factors influence their stimulating imagination. This study hopes to provide art and design learners with some advice like inspiration of trigger, learning of art education, and follow-up research. This study utilized qualitative research's method - in-depth interview and analyzed by grounded theory, investigating the relationship of environmental, psychological factors and stimulating imagination. Also using Potter’s (2002) theory to classify by students' design thinking and painting style when they facing design homework. The results of our study showed these factors indeed have influence on imagination stimulation, especially environmental factor; however, psychological factor is much deeper and more indirect even affected by environment. Besides, in research's classification of participants, professional designers prefer "free student" because of their flexible and free style. This study concluded that if you can't get appropriate idea, why not trying to understand yourself and choosing place you are fond of. They are not only in favor of stimulating imagination but also find your personal design style easily.
