遠紅外線照射對肱二頭肌運動後肌肉損傷恢復之影響

Effects of Far-Infrared Ray Irradiation on Muscle Damage Recovery of Biceps Brachii after Exercise

摘要


目的:探討遠紅外線照射對肱二頭肌運動後肌肉損傷恢復的影響。方法:分為前導研究與主要研究。前導研究之一為遠紅外線機體的開發。前導研究之二為遠紅外線照射對肌肉母細胞的影響。主要研究為遠紅外線照射對肱二頭肌運動後肌肉損傷恢復之影響。主要研究的方法是以招募8名健康男大生為參與者,並設計以雙盲交叉平衡次序的方式進行。所有參與者在實驗前皆接受關節活動度 (ROM)、痠痛知覺指數 (VAS)、肱二頭肌的最大等長肌力 (MVC) 與血液肌酸激酶 (CK) 等測試。實驗時,參與者接受共30次反覆的肱二頭肌80% MVC之離心運動,於運動後立即 (P0) 量測ROM、VAS、MVC及CK,然後隨機分派進行遠紅外線 (FIR) 或紅光 (CON) 兩種不同的恢復方式介入。兩種不同的恢復方式的時間點為運動後立即 (P0)、運動後第24、48、72小時 (P24,P48,P72)。運動後第24、48、72、96小時 (P24,P48,P72,P96) 再次量測ROM、VAS、MVC及CK。21天後,參與者重覆進行上述實驗,並交換進行不同的恢復方式。所得數據以相依樣本二因子 (恢復方式 × 時間) 變異數分析進行分析,本研究顯著水準訂為 α = .05。結果:在前導研究中,我們不僅引入發光二極體並結合陶瓷粉末製造出具有遠紅外線波長的機體,並證實本遠紅線可以增進肌肉母細胞的生長。主要研究的結果顯示,以遠紅外線介入於運動後恢復期中,其運動後之CK (P48, P72, P96) 與VAS (P48, P72, P96) 數值顯著低於控制組;其運動後之MVC (P24, P48, P72, P96) 與ROM (P48, P72, P96) 數值顯著高於控制組。結論:遠紅外線介入對肱二頭肌運動後的肌肉損傷恢復方面有正面效益。

Objective: The purpose of this was to investigate the effects of far-infrared ray irradiation on muscle damage recovery of biceps brachii after exercise. Methods: It was separated three studies: two pilot studies and the main study. The pilot studies were focused on the development of FIR module and on the test of FIR module on the C2C12 cells. In the main study, eight healthy males of college students participated in this study and were divided into the FIR (far-infrared treated) and the CON (red light treated) groups, for a randomized, double-blind cross-over designed study. Range of motion (ROM), visual analog scale of pain score (VAS), maximal voluntary isometric contraction of biceps brachii (MVC) and creatine kinase (CK) levels were measured prior to the experiment (Pre). Participants subjected to 30 repeated bouts of eccentric exercise with 80% MVC level in different measured readings (ROM, VAS, MVC, and CK) were accordingly divided into the CON and FIR groups. Then threat the FIR and CON groups with the far-infrared and the (visible) red light respectively, in 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours (P0, P24, P48, P72). All scales of the four reading items (ROM, VAS, MVC, and CK) were taken in 24, 48, 72 and 96 hours (P24, P48, P72, P96). In addition, a two-way analysis of variance (treatment × point in time) was used in this study. The statistical significance was set at α = .05. Results: In the pilot studies, a new FIR module was developed by using ceramic powder and introducing LED design, and proved to enhance the growth of C2C12 cells. The main study: After exercise, FIR’s response of CK (P48, P72, P96) and VAS (P48, P72, P96) were significantly lower than those of CON’s. Furthermore, FIR’s response of MVC (P24, P48, P72, P96) and ROM (P48, P72, P96) were significantly higher than those of CON’s. Conclusion: The exercise-induced muscle damage of biceps brachii can be recovered effectively by FIR treatment.
