衛生教育介入對中年婦女之更年期知識、態度成效探討

摘要


中年婦女在經歷更年期的轉變期,身心將面臨重大的改變,如何協助婦女調適更年期所帶來的身心變化,是非常重要的。本研究目的旨在探討衛生教育介入對中年婦女之更年期知識、態度的影響。本研究採類實驗研究設計,針對南部地區中年婦女為研究對象,以方便取樣92位婦女分配為衛教組46位與對照組46位。衛教組進行前測後,即提供2小時的團體衛生教育,一本衛教手冊,和電話諮詢;對照組不做任何介入措施。以結構式問卷「更年期知識量表」、「更年期態度量表」為研究工具,衛教組和對照組均分別實施「更年期知識量表」、「更年期態度量表」問卷前測,於3個星期後兩組再分別進行問卷後測。研究資料採用spss17.0套裝軟體程式進行資料建檔與分析,研究結果顯示:一、更年期知識於衛生教育介入3星期後,前後測差異值組間之比較,衛教組有顯著進步,且達統計顯著性,但對照組並無明顯進步。二、更年期態度於衛生教育介入3星期後,前後測差異值組間之比較,衛教組有更正向的改變,且其改變達統計顯著性;對照組則無顯著的不同。由以上結果得知衛生教育介入能提升中年婦女之更年期知識,並增進其正向更年期態度,可做為社區護理推廣更年期健康促進的參考。

Mid-life women experience physical and psychological changes during their climacteric transitional period. It is important for nurses to help these women in adjusting their physical and psychological changes. The purpose of this quasi-experimental study was to assess the effectiveness of a health education intervention about menopause knowledge and menopause attitude among mid-life women. A total of 92 mid-life women were recruited from south Taiwan through a convenient sampling procedure. Forty-six of them were assigned to the experimental group who were received a two hours health education, a health education brochure, and telephone consultation. The other 46 participants were in the control group who had no intervention. Research data were collected through a structured questionnaire which included the demographic information, the Perimenopausal Knowledge Scale, and the Perimenopause Attitude Scale. Before the intervention, both groups of participants were asked to complete the questionnaire. Then, both groups were assessed using the same questionnaire 3 weeks after initial recruitment. Results of the study showed that: in comparing of the levels of menopause knowledge before and after intervention, the experimental group had improved significantly, but the control group had no significant difference. In terms of menopause attitude, the experimental group had showed significant improvement after interventions. The control group, on the other hand, had no significant change. In conclusion, the health education intervention can improve mid-life women’s menopause knowledge and attitude. The results of this study offer a reference for nurses in community health promotion among climacteric women.
