摘要

目前台灣學術與產業界缺乏股東會議事手冊翻譯的研究，本研究以語用充實作為理論架構，以台灣證券櫃檯買賣中心之股東會議事手冊中英文範本為主，英屬開曼群島商世芯電子股份有限公司100年度股東會議事手冊為輔，探討股東會議事手冊之翻譯策略。

本研究整理法律文本翻譯和語用充實理論相關文獻之翻譯策略，配合語料分析驗證，歸納出股東會議事手冊翻譯策略為語言面的「被動語氣」、「詞性轉換」、「拆句法」與「併句法」，以及理論面的「語用收縮」和「語用擴充」。

本研究希望能讓台灣上市櫃公司在翻譯股東會議事手冊時，有更真實可靠的標準與依據，以為企業增添更多可利用的資料。同時也提供國外股東和投資人更完整的營運資訊，以吸引外資投資。

There are very few accumulating translation studies of handbook for annual meeting of shareholders in Taiwan. This study applies the translating strategies into effective implementation of Handbook for Annual Meeting of Shareholders of Gre Tai Securities Market of Taiwan and Handbook of 2011 Annual General Meeting.

This study employs pragmatic enrichment theory as its theoretical framework and identifies “passive voice”, “conversion of parts of speech”, “division method”, “combination method”, “pragmatic narrowing” and “pragmatic broadening” as the guiding principles for translating a handbook for annual meeting of shareholders.

It is hoped that this thesis provides Taiwan’s publicly traded companies with reliable translating reference and standard when translating handbook for annual meeting of shareholders, and operational information for foreign and domestic investors and shareholders.
