摘要

本文為評析《真情臺灣（The Real Taiwan and the Dutch）》之中譯。筆者先檢視文中較有瑕疵的譯文後，先以筆者於翻譯研究所習得的翻譯技巧提出筆者試譯，之後再以奈達的靈活對等理論與韋努第的歸化譯化理論交互評論。本論文分為四章，第一章緒論為陳述筆者撰寫此論文之動機與目的，並提出研究方法；第二章為文獻探討，筆者先提出旅行文學的定義與相關文獻後，介紹作者Menno Goedhart與《真情臺灣》，於第四節介紹奈達與韋努第的理論語翻譯技巧；第三為翻譯實務探討，筆者會以四段式論述的方式來評析《真情臺灣》的中譯，其中筆者除了評論該書中譯外，也會提出筆者試譯，並且說明筆者與郭譯(郭郁君譯本)的不同；第四章為結論，筆者從研究中發現，在翻譯時，習得翻譯理論與技巧的譯者比未學過的譯者更深思熟慮。

This study is to analyze and critique the Chinese translation of The Real Taiwan and the Dutch by Kuo Yu Jun. The author addresses what she sees as badly translated words, phrases, and sentences by using the translation theories of Nida's dynamic equivalence and Venuti's domestication and foreignization, and techniques she learned to explain the differences between the author’s and the translator's translations. This study is divided into four chapters. Chapter One states the author's motivation, purpose and research method for this study. Chapter Two is literature review in which the author first addresses the definition of travel literature and related studies, and then briefs the author of The Real Taiwan and the Dutch, Menno Goedhart, as well as the translation theories and techniques used in this study. Chapter Three analyzes the differences between the author’s and the Kuo Yu Jun 's translations. Chapter Four is the conclusion of the study. From this study, the author can see that a student of translation theories and techniques are taking more into consideration in rendering translations.
