利用乳化聚合法製備聚丙烯酸酯類奈米複合材料及性質分析

摘要


本論文主要探討合成層狀土SWN的添加量對三種聚 (甲基) 丙烯酸酯高分子塗膜各種應用性質如熱性質、拉伸降伏強度、破裂強度、表面抗刮性質、硬度變化及 UV-VIS 光透光率等特性的影響。本研究選擇未經任可有機改質的層狀化學合成矽酸鹽化合物 SWN 作為高分子奈米改質的材料,它具有高度的親水性質,以XRD估算其層狀距離在12.6Å至88 Å的範圍。在論文中我們使用三種 (甲基) 丙烯酸酯單體與層狀土SWN以乳化聚合的方法分別製備聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯-甲基丙烯2-羥乙酯 (polymethylmethacrylate-hydroxyethyl methacrylate),聚甲基丙烯酸正丁酯 (polybutylmethacrylate) 及聚丙烯酸乙酯 (polyethylacrylate) 三種高分子奈米複合材料。製備完成的高分子分別以傅利葉紅外線光譜儀 (FT-IR)、X光粉末繞射分析儀 (XRD)、穿透式電子顯微鏡 (TEM)及膠體滲透層析儀 (Gel-permeation chromatography) 鑑定高分子的基本物理及化學性質,而高分子塗膜則使用萬能拉伸試驗機 (Instron)、耐磨試驗機 (TABER)、掃描式電子顯微鏡 (SEM)、鐘擺硬度試驗機、熱示差掃描卡計 (DSC) 及熱重損失分析儀 (TGA) 評估各種應用特性。在比較上述各式儀器的分析結果後,我們觀察到合成層狀土SWN針對聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯,聚甲基丙烯酸正丁酯及聚丙烯酸乙酯等高分子塗膜均能達到提昇其物理及應用性質的功效。

Nanocomposite polymers of Polymethylmethacrylate-hydroxyethyl methacrylate,polybutylmethacrylate and polyethylacrylate were prepared respectively by emulsion polymerization with highly hydrophilic SWN,which is an unmodified bedded synthetic silicate compound. SWN,whose interlayer distances were characterized by X-RD from 12.6 Å to 88 Å,was used as a modifier for polymer structure to enhance the physical properties of polymer films. FT-IR,X-RD,TEM and GPC characterized the basic physical and chemical features of prepared composite polymers. Technical properties of Polymer films were compared and evaluated by Instron, TABER, SEM,TGA and DSC 。 It was observed that the physical characters of polymer films,such as Tg,thermogravimetric property,film strength, anti-abrasion and hardness,were improved by SWN.
